The number of cups is 57. There is enough space in there to hold a 5lb bag of rice.
From the top of the cup to the bottom of the bottle, the container measures 12 inches. It is approximately 7 inches in width and 4 inches in depth. My favorite part is that it's so creative! I now have enough time to prepare some jasmine rice since it perfectly fits in the bag I buy at Walmart!
An embossed writing that appears to be Chinese is on the bottom of the container. The container, however, is excellent! This one has been very enjoyable for me!

Rice measuring cup is convenient and proves that it is airtight and durable. I prefer it over cardboard boxes or plastic bags. I bought a second one to store.
I like the container, but there is only one way to seal it, by using a As well as being too large for any of our cabinets, it is too tall. I will be using it for its intended purpose and I believe it is useful. Only if it came with a sealable lid would I consider it a win.
The more I like it, the more I want to like it. Concerning the complaint about capacity, there are a little less than 4 pounds of brown rice in the second picture. There would have been plenty of room for another pound of rice in there, but after I cleaned out the jar one of the clips broke before it could be used. So far, I will keep it, I will throw it away if my rice gets soggy in storage. The expectations were a little too high for me.
It's amazing how well they work! Though I didn't measure my cabinet shelves before I started so I ended up moving the shelves but on the whole these are great. The one I have for rice and the one for sugar I plan to get more for.
All it takes is to put it on the lids, and you have a measuring cup at all times. My favorite thing about the cup is its design. By keeping the cereal fresh, it keeps it from going bad.
