There is no BPA in this product, as claimed in its description. I don't use it for rice, but I grind white sugar and flour in it. It has thus far served the purpose that it was intended for.
The gap should be there, but you should be sure to measure the depth of the shelf before purchasing.

Seals seem to be tight, and they are supposed to be food grade, so you should be able to use them. Although each workout did not yield 22 pounds, I did get a good amount of strength. There may be a total of that amount.

I buy 50 pound bags of rice at a time to feed our tiny family, all the best. One is that the two do not fit a person who weighs 50 pounds. The bag still had about 2 pounds left when I was able to scoop without anything falling out of the bin after filling both to the point of being able to do so.
All the components seem to fit together very well. There's just one thing I wish was more sturdy. It's a little flimsy, so sometimes the top will pop off. It's not much, but just On the plus side, the wheels work perfectly and they are very reliable. It is fun to scoop rice out of the window. Easily grabs a cup out of this size. It seemed a bit overpriced for a decent looking rice storage container and the competition didn't look too nice. I would prefer to find a cheaper alternative with the same look and quality as it's worth it if it fits.
You shouldn't hesitate to buy any products from EconTone if you are buying in bulk because you want to save money or will be cooking so often. Each of these containers looks and feels just like the containers I used in a professional kitchen. I purchased all 3 sizes and am very satisfied with them. There was an issue with two of the containers I bought and the seller promptly fixed it. Throughout all of their communications, the seller was amazing. There are too many positive things to say about the seller or the products.
I ordered them that way, but when they arrive and I put the lid on, they do not close at all. I am returning them.
Today, I am taking time to write a review about a bunch of kitchen accessories my sister purchased since Covid blew up. I'm so glad this works so perfectly. The materials you need are easily available and there are no unnecessary steps. What I love about it is how it closes.
I like that you can easily access the rice. I love the ease with which I can scoop rice out of the lid, and it feels solid when I close the whole flap. Whether the rice can be used without it being waterproof is unknown to me.
The containers come with a measuring cup too which I love because they were designed to give maximum capacity to fill them. It is worth the price under the container since I store peas, beans, and rice in them.
The price is a bit high for the product, and one flap was Although they continue to close okay, I was hoping for perfect fit for almost $60.
