I have been working on this for 5 months. I use it for rice, and it is a storage container. During the summer and fall, there are bugs in my house and they like to keep themselves in my rice bag, so that is why I bought it. There is a lid on the pot that definitely prevents bugs from getting in, and you also get a measuring cup with it to measure out how much rice you need. In my opinion, the only reason it did not receive a 5 star rating is the price.
This is relatively expensive for a plastic container, especially since it is not very I would give this thing 10 stars if it was 10 I would give it a 5 star if it were 15 dollars but it isn't and there aren't many options on Amazon.
