One of these gadgets caught my eye at a local Japanese store and I bought it out of sheer whim. "The interwebs" were my only resource for finding a second and third unit. The dispenses are good, it's the perfect size (not too tall, but thin enough to fit inside a narrow cabinet) and it fits well in my cabinet. Smooth operation and quick loading are two features of the dispenser control. Cleaning is a breeze.
The dispensing unit itself and the instruction manual do not have English translations. I gave it 3 stars because of this. Upon pulling the lever one time to dispensing the rice, this machine does give one cup of.
I am having difficulty finding these kind of dispensers in stores, but I'm finding the best one online. It's for this reason I got a second In all, we have one for each type of rice. At the moment, we have about three. Due to the lockdown we have eaten more rice since we have been unable to leave the house so much so that we have been cooking more did get this new rice for us, you know, Haiga rice, which is half brown rice. I will call it all the goodness from brown rice without all the fuss. All we do is soak it for a shorter time, cook it, and eat it. As for me, it is near perfect rice healthier than white rice, but less congealed and nuttier than pure brown rice. * Nevertheless, I found it hard to store it just in the package it came in because I couldn't use the bag it came in. The rice dispenser ran out, so I needed to get another one. I want to tell you that in comparison to the rice dispensers of today, there is no comparison to the varieties I had as a child. The types of Japanese food I have seen are so diverse. They were huge and had cool features such as a built-in strainer and a rice cleaning bowl that came with them. These buttons are made of thin steel sheets and wood, with two legs to help keep them off the ground. They alternate between different quantities of rice, one, two or three cups at a time. The whole family could eat 25 or even 50 pounds of rice. I digress, back to the rice dispenser, this one is simple to use and built for today, just big enough to hold your 20 pounds of rice. A simple lever allows for perfect dispensing of one Asian rice Don't get all bent out of shape when you only get 180 You guys, 200 cc of rice is fine. In Asia, the average serving size of cooked rice per person is 15 pounds. Therefore, if you prefer actual rice over these prepared rice cups, you should use an actual cup of rice. If you are like most Asians, you should be fine with the rice cooker cups provided. This rice keeps the rice while keeping out moisture with a good fitting lid, you get rice dispenses from the bottom first, so old stuff gets used up first, and there is no need to touch the rest of the rice with dirty or wet Rather than dumping the rice onto a table, you should pour it neatly into a drawer which you can then pull out. There is probably enough room in the drawer to store about 5 cups of rice. That is quite a bit of rice. It's a nearly perfect way to store rice. My old one is nearly ten years old and still working.
