Is lengthwise measurement the same as widthwise ?

5 inches is the size of the wall mount. It is 9 3/4 inches long from the bottom of the glasses to the top of the glasses. The quality is excellent.

Can you tell me how long these last? What should I do if my cabinet only needs 8 inches to be flush under it?

A sturdy product

Although I loved the hangers themselves, the difficulty of assembling them is another matter. The item is rather heavy for someone to simply place into Sheetrock without assistance using the studs attached to the walls (more like wooden dowels). In addition, I recommend only placing 2 wine glasses per stem holder since I happened to have Sheetrock butterflies nuts and screws lying around. But other than that, I am really happy with how my bar setup turned out!.

My bar cabinet is equipped with these, which are used to hang coffee cups. They handle standard mugs nicely, but larger mugs need a bit more space to fit in them.

Even when I only put two glasses on each, these are already beginning to bend. There is a small gap between the glasses and the edge.

As a wine enthusiast, I've used both types of under counter wine racks and prefer this one. A meeting did not take place. All that remained was to add a couple of screws.
