I have put six flutes on at once if you are referring to flutes. In my opinion, there should be no more than four coupes. This is my second one and I find that I can dry 12 regular wine glasses at once with them. The bottom is covered with a paper towel and no muss or fuss is required

After two attempts, I have put this product in the drawer [it does fold easily for storage] and have not used it, as all the wine glasses have water streaks after air drying. The concept sounded appealing, but I did not proceed to use it due to the outcome.
A bowl was placed on the table with our wine glasses - My husband and I decided to lay them down on a silicone mat after washing so they could drain a bit before drying, but they are not very stable that way, so we were concerned they would Drying racks for clothes are safe and secure while folded. I mainly intended for the champagne flute to scrape the bottom because this is what I use it for. While other wine glasses are easily drained by just turning them upside down, champagne glasses on the other hand will surely hold due to their narrow opening and long stems.
In the past, I always had to air dry wine glasses on a dish towel on my countertop for a long time. My husband and I actually bought up a second one for our vacation home since we love it so much!.
