In a nutshell Because this holder is not sturdy, the arm would fall down. I had to install it again because it was unstable. Any weight on the base causes the arm to fall, which is why it was secured to the wall. However, a different part connects the base to the holder part, and no matter how much weight is applied, the arm falls. It took me two attempts to put it up because at first I thought I hadn't screwed it up hard enough, but on the second try I made sure it was really tight and as soon as you put it on the base it falls. It is the most frustrating thing because no matter how much you try, you cannot tighten it as long as it is on the base because it will tighten in the My objective now is to hold the parts together at the joints where the joints meet with glue, and hopefully the arm will not fall apart. The paper towel holder is really cute, but the roll is a bit smaller than a stand-up basket. It consists of 10 7/8" of space between the fittings. It takes 11 inches of paper towels to make one roll. Despite looking small, it is still a fictional character. I'd advise you not to buy it if you're like me and that would bother you. My mind goes crazy when I hear about it. There are no plastics or rubbers. The pictures suggest it is hanging on the side of a cabinet next to the sink, but I wanted it on the side of the cabinet opposite The bottom two holes for the longer screws were predrilled but the top two holes were screwed in with shorter screws so the ports would not get jammed. It is secure that bottom screws are anchored in the shelf below. I love the look of this item. It is durable and seems to have no problems at all.

I'm glad you liked it. Metal of the purest kind. Amount comes in 4 pieces, a mount with 3 screws that are too long about 2 inches, so I used my own screws and butterfly fasteners, a connecting pipe, then an L connector, followed by a long pipe with a removable nut on For those wondering, you can cut out the L and small pipe and mount it straight up on a counter.
