As stated in the description, this tray is 28 inches wide. Unless they're laying down, I don't think it'll hold full-height spice bottles. Part of the overall storage height is determined by the type of blank you have in front of your sink or cooktop. Because the mounting screws are slightly longer than a half-inch, you'll have to mount the tray higher if you have blanks with inserts, resulting in less overall storage height. The tray will have less storage height at the front of the tray because it tips into the opening on the back of the blank. Because of the size of the opening over which the blank was installed, a square object that fits in the tray and is tall enough to fit when closed will get caught on the front corner of the box when tipped forward. At most, the back of the tray should be less than three inches tall, with half to three-quarters of an inch of height. In the front, it's a quarter-inch less. I hope you've understood everything so far. I put these in front of the kitchen sink and our stove, as well as three sinks in two bathrooms. These trays are ideal for small items. Hand towels, brushes, a spoon rest, and other items are available. For spice storage, I would suggest a drawer insert, cabinet, or counter.
Place it against the drawer front and use a pencil to mark the holes.
No, I don't think so. Because it is made of stainless steel, a little moisture will not affect it. When they're wet, I use scrapers and other similar items, and I've never had an issue. I wouldn't put wet sponges in there because there wouldn't be enough airflow to dry it out.
I haven't had mine long enough to know if it will rust, but if it's chrome plated steel, which I believe it is, it could rust if not properly cared for- cleaned and dried on a regular basis It's a lot more durable and attractive than the plastic one I replaced it with.

Plastic film is an annoyance. So, first and foremost, if function is your primary (or sole) concern, this shelf is fantastic. It isn't particularly thick or durable, but it will do the job. However, if you're considering this metal tray over a standard plastic tray, I'm guessing you're also concerned with aesthetics and attention to detail. This is where it falls short: mine arrived bent, as seen in photos 1 and 2. Is this going to have an impact on how it functions? No. Does it make me happy that I had to pay a significant premium over the plastic version? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Of course, this was complicated by the fact that said plastic was trapped by corners and bends, making complete removal of the plastic film impossible (as seen in photos 3 and 4). The bottom of the product is also stamped with their logo, making the only long, flat surface difficult to remove. (Removing the film that remained in the stamp's indents took dedication! Again, if you're willing to spend an hour or so with a box knife and a lot of patience, you'll most likely end up with a very nice looking shiny new tray (assuming yours isn't bent). However, be aware that the film removal will take some time. If I had a mulligan, I would most likely buy the cheapest plastic version.
This one will go under the sink in my master bathroom and will serve the same purpose as the one I have under my kitchen sink, which provides convenient storage for small items like sponges, rubber gloves, and the like. I like that it's made of stainless steel, because that means it'll last longer. It's simple to put together, with only two mounting screws required.
This item appears to be well-made and appealing to the eye, but be wary of the seller. I only ordered one, but I was charged for two. I can't return the second one because the seller won't let me, so I'm stuck with something I don't want and will have to sell at a loss. At the very least, the person to whom I sell it will not purchase one from this seller.
This is what we put on the false drawer front under my cooktop, and it's great. It doesn't hold much, but it's large enough to fit my silicone pot holders in. This turned out to be the ideal spot for them, and I no longer have to look for them when I need them. I intend to add more under the sinks in my bathroom.
Installing it is difficult because the instructions are so small that they are impossible to read, and the website isn't much better. It's all too easy to screw the wrong screws in the wrong places. Worse yet, it's only been in for a few months and it's already rusted! I try to keep everything dry, but hey, it's a kitchen sink shelf, so moisture is bound to happen.
There was nothing more I could ask for! I should have read the description more carefully because the hinges are not included and must be purchased separately. It took some time to set up, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Even though the contractor didn't like it, I insisted on having it added. He installed it quickly and said it was the easiest one he'd ever done. It takes a little finesse to get the hinges screwed in, but he did it, and I love the "hidden" drawer. I'm so glad I stood firm and got what I wanted! Love it!.
The new tray is gleaming and incredibly attractive. If it had come with the small piece that keeps the tray from falling open all the way, I would have given it five stars. This was in the previous tray, but it was not saved.
