I measured mine with my electronic calipers (thank you for allowing me to use them and not feel guilty about the cost) and they were 1 27/32" inside H and 2 1/64" outside (including the small ridge on the bottom to make them stack neatly into the next one).

I'll put a liner in the bottoms. Finding trays made 100% of bamboo is 100% recommended.
Two of them showed up with a list of things that needed to be fixed around the house. A thread was dangling from the lip of one box (the lip required for stacking). To keep the piece in place, I used Elmer's Wood Glue. Everything appears to be in order at this time. The copper staples on one of the boxes had come loose. I had to apply a lot of pressure to get it to stay put, but it eventually did. I don't think this was due to shipping because the items were well packaged. The product is thin bamboo, and I'm keeping the boxes because they suit our needs.
I'm coming back. One of the boxes was broken, and the other was shoddily put together. Once they've been removed from the shipping order, they don't stack very well. Only the sides are bamboo, not the bottom.
Plastic is SO much more 'unfriendly'! We use it in every room of the house- Kitchen, desk, bathroom, and bedside tables are all examples of furniture. They keep their shape in drawers better than plastic, are quieter, and can withstand the occasional spill of 24 oz of whatever you're drinking. There is no warping as a result of the drying process. You can never have too many of these.
I decided to take a chance after reading other customer reviews about these bamboo boxes arriving broken. I placed an order for the entire set of four. Three of them were fantastic, solid, and large, but one was completely broken. Some of this, I believe, was due to the way it was packaged; all four were crammed into an insufficiently large plastic bag, and one splintered as a result. I decided to keep the three and discard the broken one because they were still a good deal. If you purchase these, you should be aware that you are taking a chance.
These boxes are EXACTLY what I was looking for! I don't have a lot of storage space. I bought these boxes, glued and lined them with black felt, and now keep them in my kitchen buffet drawer to store my holiday silverware. These boxes are both light and durable.
I'm using these bamboo organizers for silverware and they're really nice. I would have given them a higher rating if they were just a little deeper. My teaspoons, on the other hand, don't seem to fit quite right. I suppose there are just too many.
extremely low-cost It's a shambles of a film. For $27 you can get these at a dollar store? When they arrived, three of them had already been broken. I will be back as soon as possible. It's so funny!.
