It has the appearance of being that way. However, I have not put it in the dishwasher.
The back is 3" tall and the front is 1 1/2" tall, but the distance between the front and back of the tray is about 2".

We mounted the tray on the inside of one cabinet door near the top, rather than using it as a tip out, because we found that we didn't use it as much as we thought we would when we first got it. It's still easy to get to, doesn't take up any space under the sink, and can be taken out to clean. br>Quality appears to be satisfactory so far, but because it is plastic, it may yellow or crack in the future. Because our cabinets are white, we chose white plastic over stainless steel.
This is great for bottle brushes and other small items that would otherwise clutter the sink area. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully and in the correct order. I didn't, and after attaching the sink front to the hinges, I had a difficult time installing the screws to hang it on, doh! Aside from that, everything went fine.
This is insanely cool! I'm a sucker for "functionalizing" wasted space, and I've always wondered if I could use that stupid fake drawer. Installing it is simple, inexpensive, and practical. I only have one fake drawer in the kitchen, and it has hinges for two drawers and two trays (as you can see, I used both trays), so I'll use the extra hinges for my fake bathroom drawer - I had already placed an order for the tray alone. This is an item I strongly suggest.
There were no instructions or a template included with the items. You don't require them, which is great news. It was more trouble than it was worth trying to use the one I printed off the internet. I attached the Hinge to the face frame after drilling a pilot hole on the frame face and keeping it flush with the frame. I had my wife hold the drawer front I had taped in place while I drilled pilot holes and screwed it all together. Place the trays on top and everything will be fine. It's much easier to toss the template in the trash once more.
The product is of good quality and matches the description. I think it's a good idea to include screws for attaching the tray. br>br>I hope Hamilton Bowes expands their product line to include additional sizes. I needed a plastic tray that was between 18 and 22 inches wide, but no one seems to make one in that size; perhaps Hamilton Bowes could fill the gap.
out is a more in-depth version of my previous suggestion- It can easily handle my sponges and scrapers because of the way it's designed. It's made of a tough, long-lasting, bright plastic that wipes clean and always looks new. This product comes highly recommended by me.
This appeals to me greatly. 12" Trays were available to me. One had been broken for quite some time, so I decided to replace it and came across this set. They were the perfect size for my drawer. I am very pleased with the product, and it will be simple to clean. Thanks.
The product is excellent, but you must first determine the depth of your sink. It didn't fit on mine, but the structure is excellent and easy to clean, which is exactly what I needed.
