I found it a bit difficult to put it in. The height is perfect, it glides smoothly. I wasn't strong enough to put it together so I had to use a tool. I am so happy that you can finally see all the spices now! I'm so glad that you were able to do it without any issues.
My whole vitamin regimen is easily on this, I just need to make sure I have everything I need. I love how simple it is to assemble. I like it a lot.
Spices are great with this product! When building a narrow cupboard, wait until you have it on/in the shelf before completing the assembly. To fit it into the cabinet, you will need to attach the posts to the bottom and turn it to get it into place. Press the top down and then put it on. The machine turns beautifully after being fully loaded. To make sure that the posts were all the way in, I made sure they were all inserted. The fact that that might make a difference is not clear to me. The top shelf of my cabinet did not have enough room to fit all of my spice bottles upright. laid many of the smaller cans and bottles on their sides and then stacked some of the larger bottles on their sides, too. I don't think there will be a problem with bottles falling off/out since the shelf rim has a fairly high level. In the bottom shelf of this cabinet you can store all regular sized spice bottles as well as a few that have a little more height. There is no doubt that this product is highly recommended!.
For vitamins, spices, and other small items, this is a very useful and well designed turntable. The shelf is narrow and holds roughly 18 spice bottles. It fits nicely on my narrow 8" shelf. I will be buying one more for the rest of my spices after I have another for my vitamins and cold remedies.
There's an uneven motion, and you have to apply some pressure for it to spin, so it flips over instead of spinning, on surfaces like granite countertops. (I didn't return it as I needed something for a cabinet urgently, and on the liner it doesn't slide it that easily, so I guess it is okay. I will not buy this turntable again for my other cabinet because it is not as good as my other turntables.
In a previous lazy Susan with two tiers, the top tier spices kept falling to the ground, throwing all the spices everywhere. I decided that enough was enough and ordered the one below. I love what I do. In my pantry, the high edge of the top tier keeps items from falling off or catching on neighboring items. There are labels for all spices on both tiers, and are transparent, so they are easy to read. There's no way these will fall apart any time soon (this baby's not gonna fall apart anytime soon) I'm very pleased with this purchase, and wish I had spent a couple more dollars the first time I bought it.
