whoever is in charge of marketing needs to learn to read a tape measure. Probably others have the extra 3/16" of an inch. I read reviews to confirm this, but I did not see the problem. It was larger than what I had at 9" 1/8 and I gave it a 4 star for sturdyness as it did not bend when I threw them across the room when i became angry. As of the time of writing, I gave it a 3 on storage capacity because As far as stretch goes, it is a poor stretch in anyone's mind to say that a 9 3/16" hole will fit a 9 1/8" hole.

The reviews would have been useful to me if I had read them. It was only after carefully measuring the knife and reading the basket dimensions that I realized they were Eight and three quarter inch long knives are what I use. It is a fact that the basket measures 8 3/8 of the bottom and 9 1/8 of the top due to its flared sides. Advertising made up of lies.

These don't hold such a basic knife, which was the whole point. The container was shown as a cutlery organizer, but I have not seen any knives on it, and I have three different knife I don't understand the point!.

They will be great for storing silverware in the camper drawer. We had a plastic one, and they kept getting bounced out of it, but it made it difficult to find things in the drawer. The drawers are deeper and will hook together and fit better in the drawer if you use these. We all win if we work together. In comparison to the other types of insurance, these seemed expensive, but in comparison to the other types that would not cover your needs, you get your money's worth. I see these being useful for many years to come, and nice thing is that I won't need to replace them in a couple of years because they break.

a lot of ways they are, I love the flexibility of these, but the fact that they aren't long enough to accommodate standard length butter knives is a major shortcoming,.

A silverware organizer that fits in small drawers works perfectly for drawers with short handles that cannot accommodate silverware organizers. Totally bummed, because I've been searching for organizers that will fit these drawers ever since I received the damaged one. I think it was dropped just before shipping because the shipping box was fine.
