In the picture, all of the bottom pieces are not bamboo and appear to be plastic veneers over pressboard. If you look closely, you can see that the rest of the pieces are clearly bamboo based on texture and pattern of the cross-hatching. Several sections. This is a good deal for the price. You can open your drawer and take out anything you want! The middle section of the divider is not spring-loaded, so you cannot slide it to either side to have a larger slot on the other side.
