Especially since I am in very tight quarters, I needed something I could keep by the foot of my daybed to hold my Kindle HD 8 Plus and its charger stand so I could leave it there and also watch it while I'm lying Those beds with a memory foam mattress My dogs would knock it off if it were extended. There is no room for an extension in that space. In my original design, the square edge would have been against the corner, but it turns out that wouldn't be ideal because it would slide off the corner of the bed without a solid rail underneath it. Because the front of my bed is cut out at a 45-degree angle and has a bottom rail, the rail straddles the corner of the bed, keeping the bed upright and steady while still being tucked into the corner out of the way. Metal top has small holes in it, but the charging stand sits on it as if it were a solid piece, unlike what would happen with a slatted-style top It is of the riser type. The shelf in this picture is pretty nice, and it helps save space in virtually any cupboard. I use it for my cup and have owned it for some time. It is pretty sturdy, and I haven't had any problems with it. For those of you who are trying to conserve space, it is highly recommended!.
Usually, the material of this type of shelf is ugly or wobbly. Considering how sturdy and attractive the cabinet is, this is a great investment. The first bronze I bought was for plates, and I purchased a second for coffee mugs as soon as I can put it in my cabinet without any problems.
