ClosetMaid 8002 2-Tier Wall Rack, 12-Inch Wide

This type of rack can be found in a variety of stores, the largest of which begins with the letter "W. " They are frequently less expensive than the brand name, and you get what you pay for. br>br>Compared to the cheaper models I've used, the ClosetMaid is made of a thicker, more rigid steel. What I like best about this rack is that, unlike many of the cheaper models, it comes with four heavy-duty mounting holes on the rack itself. heavy-duty nylon mounting clips that can be placed wherever and however the user desires. This is crucial if your cupboards have panel doors (panel doors have a thicker wood frame surrounding a thinner wood insert in the center). The wood in the center of panel doors is far too thin to use mounting screws, and most fixed hole racks will not work with them. br>br>Check out the image I've attached. Because the nylon mounting clips can be used anywhere, I mounted them on the vertical side rails rather than the horizontal rails as the instructions suggest, so I can use them at the rack's far ends and screw them into the thicker wood frames of the doors. IMPORTANT: br>br> If you mount them this way, be sure to mount them with the screw hole facing outward and right under the horizontal rails for maximum support (again, the photo shows what would take a lot of words to describe). br>br>Another little hint is that the clips could have been mounted higher up. I didn't because the upper tray's smaller size is usually reserved for very light items like sponges and scouring pads. I put them lower so that the lower tray, which is more likely to be used to store heavier items in bottles, would have the most support. The ClosetMaid rack is extremely secure when mounted in this manner. It's the best of its kind I've seen, and it's reasonably priced. It appeals to me, and I plan to purchase more.

Before deciding on this one, I read a lot of reviews about wall racks. I purchased three three-piece sets. I made nine-shelf tier racks to hang on the back of my pantry door. To ensure that the racks were perfectly straight, I used a level ($2 from Home Depot). I also bought a pack of hollow door anchors ("E-Z") at Home Depot after reading other people's reviews. Hollow Door by Z Ancor "Drywall Anchor" is a term used to describe a type of anchor used The cost of a pack of 25 is around $7. These can be found on Amazon:  .

I bought both of them. To organize over 100 bottles of craft paint, I built three tier racks. It keeps my craft room organized by storing all of my paint bottles above my desk, where they are easily accessible when I need them. Holds up well and is simple to install! More items will be purchased.

I still haven't figured out how to install it. I wish the product description had stated that it does not include hardware or installation instructions for hollow doors. The installation instructions on the inside of the packaging, on the other hand, state: "For the installation of hollow doors, additional hardware is required. " There isn't any more information or clarification available. Just a friendly 'hey, this doesn't come with any parts or instructions, but you'll need them to put this together on the most common pantry door material in the US. ' '
FML. The whole point of Amazon is to save you time from having to go to the store multiple times. Now I'm going to put some money into it. 50 hollow door anchors to my list of random crap I need to buy but will never get around to because I'll always forget it in the car or misplace it in my colossal purse. Meanwhile, this rack will join the rest of the random crap I bought on Amazon to make my life easier, but will never use because it isn't as simple to put together as it claims to be.

After looking all over for storage shelves for 16, I came up empty-handed. I found this product for 9 oz water bottles, but the shelf had to fit in my small utility closet above my washer, so it had to be slim to clear my top-loading washer. Because the shelf is perpendicular to the washer, it would be difficult to load it. This shelf was exactly what I needed. The water bottles fit perfectly on the top shelf, which is about 10-inches above the ground. They were twelve in number. The only way to fit them on the lower shelves is to lean the bottles toward the front of the shelf, which limits you to only 6 bottles. But that's still a substantial number of bottles, so I'm satisfied with my purchase.
