So far I've used it maybe ten times since I bought it four months ago. Rather than cleaning it in the usual way one would do so for any other object, I followed the instructions given. Surfaces like this are easy to stick to I used a sponge and some Dawn dish detergent to clean my dishes. Since today's washing, I have noticed that the non-clingy clothes don't soil as easily as Six to eight hours after using the stick, the coating is worn off The sandwich is placed on eight of these ridges. Out of the box, this is a gorgeous looking setup. It's a good fit. The handle needs to remain down until it turns on, so you will have to keep it there. It's also very messy to clean up afterwards. There is a lot of oil on the countertop, and it drips. Our items were too messy and time-consuming to use so we returned them for a full refund without a problem. It could be improved by adding a latch so you don't have to hold it while it works. You should put some cool fruit on the bottom, kind of like you would have in the George Foreman, so you don't end up with a messy counter every time you make a sandwich.

This is so fast and convenient that I use it more than just for sandwiches. It is usually not something I purchase with just one use. I tend to have a habit of eating alone during the week when we are empty nesters, which leaves me rather disinclined to put on much of an effort. With common sense, this unit can perform other roles as well. A turkey burger, roasted vegetables, and quesadillas are on the menu. I'm not going to name them all. It would be nice if there was some sort of temperature control, but I cannot complain considering the cost of 20 dollars. This large surface is large enough to accommodate two sandwiches, even if the bread is oversized, like rye bread.
