Questions & Answers

The product is made in the USA, isn't it? Is it CHINA or the US?

DON'T MISS THIS! I just got mine. I ordered since I could see this model in the store and I saw that the box read Made in USA on the website. One of the ones I received today was made in China. Not happy at all!

Does it fit in a microwave with a 700-watt power supply?

As I have a shorter microwave over my stove, this item fits perfectly and I have no problem making popcorn using it, as I have done for years now

Can you tell me if this product contains BPA?

I'm here. As soon as I received my PowerPop, I called to ask if what Michelle said on May 17 would be confirmed. There was a statement that said they were BPA-free Until the end of the first week of January, I am free. The easy way to tell is to look at the following. Reading the number on the bottom of the black disk was what she told me to do. 1416 was the number on mine. In that case, the 14th week of 2016 ended on January 28, and BPA was no longer present on the label since the first week of that year. Hence, I assume so long as your disk ends in 16 or higher (for the future) you're in the clear.

When putting oil or butter in it, how does it hold up?

In other words, you CANNOT use oil as a B! The perfect proportion for me is as follows I poured one tablespoon of CANOLA oil on the plate and ate it. The number one This cup is the THIRD cup. You can melt butter in the microwave in a separate container after popping corn, and then pour it over the You may need to adjust this to your microwave. Three minutes or so. Sprinkle your popcorn with seasonings while using the OIL to keep them in place. A great range of seasonings can be found at Because it can adhere to the popcorn, the oil helps prevent any seasoning or salt from running right through the corn to the bottom of the can. Thank you, and best of luck to you. I found a solution to this problem. In very large letters, I even wrote the following on the box in Scripto marker One tablespoon of canola oil and one third of a cup of popcorn three The time taken is four

The recommendation is not to do so
3/5

As a replacement for an older version that I previously owned and liked, I purchased this new popcorn maker. The quality has suffered as a result of changes they have made to the site over the past few years. In addition to burning through the paper base and the bottom part of my popcorn before the kernels had popped, I also used it twice. Approximately one minute is at stake I thought maybe the base was defective the first time, so I tried a brand new one. A similar result was obtained. It's a very disappointing experience and I will be switching to another brand/style at some point.

It's the best popcorn popper I've ever used! The products I reviewed for this project are not the typical ones I write, but I really wanted to
5/5

It had a lid that you measured the kernels on and then dropped them into. I had previously used a glass popper with this lid. Whenever I used it, I always left a ton of questions unanswered There are so many popped kernels and I really mean it. This was just two days ago when I bought it This product came out 3 days ago and I have used it three times already but only had 3 minutes left each time 1 a- 6 In a third cup, there were popped kernels. I don't know how I lived without this popcorn popper. In my entire life, I have never had so few kernels left in the popper after finishing a meal. I love how the popcorn comes out hot, fresh and delicious and I love how easy it is to clean the wooden bowl and lid. In my experience, it takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to make the best popcorn I have ever had This is the best purchase I've ever made. I am very pleased with my purchase and it is a great deal for only fifteen dollars. In addition to the bowl, it comes with 8 concentrators that you can put on top. Besides buying two additional packs, I got enough of these to last for quite awhile. I was also amazed at how easy it is to use and clean. For those of you who like to make popcorn at home, I recommend this Presto PowerPop. It's a shame I didn't know about this product years ago, but I'm glad I have access to.

I like this hot air popper better than my old faithful! Unless I have already published a review, please forgive me
5/5

The item I thought I had was nowhere to be found. In comparison to the hot air popper I had been using for years, I like the microwave popper much better. You can enjoy delicious, tender, and fluffy popcorn by choosing just the right recipe. Using 1/4 cup of corn pops one slightly overfilled popper in the microwave in One and a half The surface begins to scorch after 55 minutes. I think it's a bit excessive to spend two minutes on one thing. It may be different in your microwave. As of right now, I do not purchase gourmet As long as I can find it at the grocery store, I am fine. My results have been better with store brands, such as Walmart Great Value and Shur Fine. I was thrilled to finally find Jolly Time in order to find old fashioned bags of popcorn (most stores don't carry those anymore). While Great Value and Shur Fine produced great results, I was disappointed with the Jolly Time corn. With the Jolly Time corn, you get smaller kernels, it takes longer to pop, and the corn scorches quickly if you let it cook for too long.

This clear model has a lot more features than their red Presto model, as you can see from the photos! The clear model and the heat discs are no longer in stock at the store near me
5/5

Since my store began selling a new red model, I have stopped selling the clear model. Since I have owned the clear model for at least 3 years now, I have a lot of experience with it. Its only drawback is that the clear plastic over time becomes discolored and grey. Although it's still working just as good as it was in the first place! Take a look at the photos I provided and you will see how much difference has been made. About $6 more is spent on this clear model compared to $9 for the red model. A 1100 Watt set on high in this clear one is capable of cooking pop corn in just two minutes, ten A red model finishes cooking in a 2 minutes and 50 second microwave at the same power level! However, keep this in mind. So far, there are no burnt pop corn kernels on my hands. Those who use the red model will obtain pop corns that have a dryer texture. Despite the fact that it's very noticeable, it doesn't taste very good. Clearly, the clear model cooks in a shorter time because of the reduced friction. This means fewer heat and fewer drying times. In this manner, pop corn is produced in huge quantities that are very tasty. For your popcorn serving, here are a few tips on how much popcorn kernels to use. You should use your own judgment because this is a rough estimate. As you normally do, fill up the Power Pop container at the bottom with lime juice. Make sure the microwave is set up the way you normally do it. you have finished and are ready to serve your popcorn. The popped corns should be taken out, while the unpopped corns should be kept. In this example, you would visually subtract the amount of popped kernels from the amount you start out with the next time. This way there are fewer kernels left unpopped.

This junk is a complete waste of space! In the past few months I have- Loved it and still loves it! Since I have used a Presto PrestoPop popper (red bowl) for several years, I know how to use it (I never use the popcorn setting, but I time it for two minutes and turn it off when the timer goes off if corn is popped)
3/5

The look of it is getting a bit grubby after a while, so I decided to replace it. It was a huge Even with just two tablespoons of pop corn (without oil) in the bowl, the corn on the bottom scorches, and the paper concentration device also burns while it is still popping vigorously, so I have to turn off the machine, With the old one, I never had a problem like this. In which I have now put a lot of effort, and I will continue to do so. It's a toss-up between throwing this one in the trash and donating it, along with a package of "concentrators", to the nonprofit.

I have tried that one, and it works well
3/5

This one was on our list to see what it was like. I have been using version 04834 of the red version. It works well. As much as we wanted to try this one, it wasn't even close to the one we already have. I think the performance of microwaves varies from one to the next, but this one did not work on our side at all. It only takes about three minutes on the red version and there are very few unpopped kernels on the blue version. Only half of the kernels popped in this clear version after about 6 minutes. As a result of it taking so long, the popcorn that eventually popped had a burnt taste. Furthermore, this one has a much flimsier feel to it. It did, technically, pop popcorn, but I haven't been impressed with how poorly it did it. I gave it two stars for this one reason only it did technically pop some popcorn. It is the red version that I would highly recommend but this version is never my choice.

This item was returned due to the presence of BPA and the need for disposable inserts
3/5

We returned this product before use when we realized that it contains BPA based on the California Proposition 65 warning on the product (This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, It is also important to note that this popper requires single-ended power Put foil inserts in the microwave to focus it. It also required no disposable inserts and just worked very well. I decided to use a silicone popper from Lekue for safety purposes.
