I estimate the diameter to be about 6 3/4 to 6 3/8 inches, just big enough for a jiffy pop to sit snugly on top
This is not the actual popcorn, as this is the holder. Putting the back to basics in a pan and popping them is what this recipe is all about. There's already popcorn made up in the jiffy pop machine.

My family and I recently went on a mountain vacation to a cabin and I brought along a lot of tins and this holder. It worked flawlessly! I found the system to be very simple to use. In order to use the tin, place it precisely in the round opening, slide the loop around the handle, and then let go until the tin "falls" into the crevice. Even vigorous shaking didn't dislodge any of the cans from the handle. I found that a little precarious at first, but I guess that's expected. You'll feel like it's about to fly off at any moment if you follow the popping instructions- but take my word for it- it'll work There's no way it will happen.
It was super cool to have such a long extension handle. Our church's youth group and scouting are both a big part of our lives. Using it does make using the jiffy pop much easier and there are many occasions for doing so. Because it eliminates some of the danger of being too close to the fire, it is a great method for the young people to pop corn. It can be used over and over again for years to come.
This is one of my favorite things ever. I can't recommend it enough. Initially, I was concerned that it might be flimsy, but I was able to make popcorn in record time while camping, popping all kernels without burning myself. The price is well worth it.
It is extremely simple to cook a Jiffy Pop with this method. During the cooking process, Jiffy Pop fit snugly inside the holder without moving (which is important since it is essential to shake the Jiffy Pop). With the help of this last week, I made three batches of Jiffy Pop successfully while camping with my family. In my opinion, if there is one minor complaint or two, it's that the handle would need to be extended Although this length seems adequate (I didn't have to wear an oven mitt), our fire pit is fairly large, so this made it necessary for me to stand right up to the edge of it whenever I cooked. of a fire pit will be fine for a smaller one. As well as being reasonably priced with some low-cost options The joints are welded to a high grade. It appears that the gauge of metal is not quite adequate considering the weight of the jiffy pop bends Ah, but it's okay. Therefore I can't really talk down about it too much, since it did what it was supposed to do. We are looking forward to adding this tool to our camping gear if it stands up over time.
Then and now It is quite pricey for what it is, but it was a hit with the kids when they had their first experience popping popcorn over the barn fire in winter.
You can use it over a campfire to keep your hands out of the blaze. This is sturdy and won't bend. I love it for camping in all kinds of conditions. As a result of the ring around the handle of the Jiffy Pop that can glide off with vigorous shaking, I gave it four stars instead of five. You can only put that part back because it is hot, as you cannot easily put it back making the device pretty useless since you can only gently shake it.
Having recently returned to my computer in order to contact the company about my missing popcorn, I see the description and picture have changed to indicate there is no popcorn The way you do business is not the best.
I ordered this camping set for an upcoming camping trip and UPS delivered the package to me. The light box only had a wrapper or label inside after I opened it. That was very frustrating.
