People who say it doesn't matter sure it does, but this is a good question for them. It is probably not safe to buy China products since the materials used to make them are probably not safe to use.
The following recipe was used to make kettle corn with my Great Northern popper last week, and it turned out superb Several people complain about the burning sensation, but without the burning. Taking 2 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, 1/2 cup corn kernels, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/3 cup sugar, mix them all together with one another. Stir together the oil, butter, salt, and sugar with the corn until hot, then add to the pan. Starting turning the handle when the kernels start popping and continuing until they stop coming out. Disperse the mixture into a large bowl and make sure clumps don't form. The sugar in the corn will make it very hot because it will remain hot for a long time. Have fun!
To pop this popcorn, I recommend the following recipe 50 grams of Orville Redenbacher popcorn, 10 grams of olive oil on med-high heat (#6 on the glass top) with seasoned salt, to taste. As soon as I hear the first kernel pop, I add popcorn and oil to a cool pan and continue stirring immediately. It works every time. To pop popcorn, I believe it is essential to purchase quality popcorn.
This pot looks like it has stainless steel, but I'd like to know for a few reasons whether it does or not. In its original form, this stove top is described as being made of stainless steel. There are 10 pieces of popcorn in this popcorn popper. It costs $1 00 more than the other similar model, which simply describes itself as silver pot, which I assume to mean Thus, I don't want to purchase this pot, pay a higher price, and receive an aluminum pot in return. It is not possible to interchange the two pots! Thank you very much. I would appreciate a clarification from the vendor once and for all, or else I will buy a different brand.

No clue what happened this time. I loved this popper a few years ago, but it started to fall apart after a while. The fact that this happened is no surprise since we use it every day. A couple of times per week we used it and it was a great popper. We ordered a new one because ours seemed to be on its last legs. A couple of things have changed on the box. It now reads Regardless of where I got it, I believe my last one came from the United States. That brings us to the next issue. The latches that hold the top to the base are a different color when I open it and try to wash it so that we can use it. As I examine them closely, I realize that the arms are covered in I find it strange and yuck! There is nothing dirty on the rest of the popper. This reminds me of how they put the pieces on my new popper from an old, very used popper. Please see my attached photos so that you can visualize my point. I now turn to the third issue. There is some difficulty fitting the lid, but only on one side. You have to push firmly in order to secure it. There is a slight difference in size between the two lids. In one case, it fits and in another case, it There is no quality difference between the new one and It makes me very sad.
The pot needs to be a regular one. This is because the pot reminds me of the way I used to pop popcorn on the stove. I was excited to receive it and made it that very I saw that the gear on the top of the pot would get stuck each time I used the pot. This was the first time I had to replace this part after I used the pot last week. In spite of my best efforts, I have been unable to reassemble it. My excitement got the best of me, but now I am disappointed that this product doesn't live up to the claims.
This one isn't as good as what I thought it would be, especially for what it cost. Since it was intended to be induction compatible, and I thought I'd read reviews that stated that it would work with my induction burner(s), I assumed it would. This is not the case. Because of this, I must try it out on my stovetop. The aluminum version allows you to regulate the amounts of heat as you can with the aluminum version, but the plastic version does not. Plus, it is a heavy item. I find cleaning to be a nightmare. I bought it as a replacement for an aluminum one I had fallen apart so I thought it would be an improvement. This is definitely NOT true!.
The engineers behind this mechanism forgot to use stainless steel screws, which is a questionable mistake. My knowledge of materials does not extend to materials science, but I imagine water is used to clean pots and other cookware. It is a known fact that wet metals can rust. Evidently, the team behind this popcorn maker did not feel it valuable enough to completely make it It didn't get any better, I couldn't get the company to refund me for the product either. I contacted their archaic website and used it to file According to Amazon, I would have to receive a refund (they could only send me a new product that I would not br />br>
br />Sigh. It is at your own risk to buy.
I pray that God will have mercy on us all. All of us are in your prayers!
I bought this after being fed up with using a hot air popper to make popcorn, and we will never go back to using one again. The butter was always difficult to mix in afterward, and we always made a mess combining it with our poorly butter My wife prefers the Great Northern SS stovetop popper always because she says it makes perfect popcorn each time. As aluminum is tied to Alzheimer's and dementia, stainless steel was the preferred option to avoid those issues (which would otherwise need to be addressed). The way this works is fantastic. In addition to coconut oil, it is better to place two tablespoons of honey in the dish instead of 4 tablespoons The kernels of corn can be used as an indicator to determine when the pot is hot enough. As soon as the kernels pop, we know the pan is hot. So, I add 1 tablespoon of butter, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and then 1/2 cup of corn Pour in the 2 tablespoons of oil After 3 minutes, the popcorn has a beautiful toasted flavor, and the mixture of oil, butter, and salt is evenly distributed and not burned. Please repeat as many times as you like! The price is awesome for the quality of the product. Avoid companies that are not well-known. Plastic gears are used in several other products, which I find cheap. Gears on this piece of equipment are metal, and they work very I highly recommend buying your pop corn from Amazon, and buying organic, because it is almost half the price of other similar stainless steel units, and I had no issues with it, whereas if you read the reviews of other units, you'll notice that some of them have major issues. The following is an overview of the situation SIX 1 is what you will get for this price. There are 75 lb bags of corn available. This is LESS than you'd pay for "standard" corn most places. It should come as no surprise that 90% of corn in the US is genetically modified (GMO) and science has shown that this is less than ideal. Organic foods cannot be genetically modified according to In fact, you get to buy corn that is free of persistent pesticides and is GMO-free AND it will cost you less than you'd pay to get the tainted stuff anyway! Additionally, I might suggest that you obtain the book, "101 Things to do with Popcorn" at and note that there is a Kindle version for less money, which is what I purchased. We wish you a happy popping and a.
An extremely cheap, but strong, popper. This is one for the bookshelf! The best! I love it! Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks My favorite way to eat it is with a lot of salt and butter. The butter must be melted separately in an air popper because the little dish that sits on top does an inadequate job of melting it. I usually buy bagged popcorn or use an air popper with an air popper and melt the butter separately. I just received it today and could not wait to start using it We made a batch of soup Then, after putting about 4 TBS of butter into the heated pan along with 1/2 cup of popcorn, the pan was ready to use. The first time I tried it, I had it on medium (electric range). Later, I turned it just short of medium high since it was sizzling but not popping. A short while later, it was off. My butter did not burn, even though I was worried it would. As well, it came out evenly coated. If you melt the butter separately, then pour it on top, it is hard to get a sandwich to hold. I'm so happy I got this Great Northern Popcorn Original I love it to bits! Please also note the following The kettle was about 3/4 full of popcorn containing 8 unpopped kernels, so half of it was level. Having more popcorn for your machine would be a good thing, but I'm not sure if it would result in more unpopped kernels.
I'd recommend taking the plunge - the extra popcorn should make the difference. Buying this will easily pay for itself in the amount of money I will save on bagged popcorn!.
