This oven made a noise like an airplane taking off until it became louder. Customers of Breville were rebuffed by Breville customer service when being offered a warranty for two years. It makes innovative products, but they aren't very durable or long-lasting. My brother and I both bought one of these for our homes and expected to get at least a few years out of it. The last time they were in them was 10 years ago. Both models suffered from the same issues in just over 2 years erratic keypad glitches (it takes up to 10 presses of the toast button before it will even start) and the chatter of the convection fan. Breville's customer service is worthless, and neither of us got help after one year of warranty. This one can be skipped.
