Questions & Answers

What do you think about juicing ?

That's what I was looking for! My taste for veggies has changed to juicing since I started eating them. This is good for me since I am not a fan of sweet fruits. My eyes were drawn to this post and I messed around You can also use any tomato type you like. I like Kumato tomatoes, but you can use any type of tomato you like. Also, half a large head of cauliflower, about 1/4 of a big package of Endive, and a hand full of Kumato tomatoes. *I used the orange cauliflower because the taste is the same but the nutritional value is different... *I used 1 to 2 hands full of baby spinach *I used a handful of baby carrots *I used 1 three inch English cucumber aka Hot House cucumber. To prepare the pizza sauce, combine 2 1/2 oz of your favorite pizza sauce with 1/4 red pepper add a bit of fresh African or Italian basil add a bit of fresh oregano separate from the veggies. The Von's Brand Select juicer I used does not put the juice in with your veggies, instead put it in the juice cup that the juice comes out of. The only flavor I'm interested in is the pizza flavor! There is something very similar to pizza sauce about this, which is probably because the tomatoes have been cooked in pizza sauce. You might want to try it instead of pizza sauce if you want the flavor to be very close to pizza It's not bad for a small amount as long as it's not too much. Your diet is still full of healthy vegetables! I wish you a wonderful weekend.

How do I know if fruits/vegetables can be juiced on this machine? I used a GE juicer and it juiced apples, pears and oranges. You can buy one for a low price. Whenever I tried to juice seaweed, it only produced a lot of pump, rather than much juice. ?

It's a good juicer for most vegetables and fruits, especially whole lemons, ginger, and turmeric, but I have had difficulty juicing cilantro and similar herbs, regardless of the speed at which I try it. As a result, most of the eggs in the basket are whole. Considering this, I would assume you would also find it difficult to juice wheatgrass.

Does this juicer contain plastic parts that are free of BPA?

Breville has put it right on the box and tag that it is 100% BPA-free plastic. I received this a month ago. This site does not contain BPA.

Do the pulps have a lot of moisture? There has been some talk about the Breville models leaving very wet pulp and I am looking into it. ?

Having used this juicer in the past, likewise, the pulp is similar to that described by others. In the past, I have had a lot of damp saw dust. But I just purchased the Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus 850-caliber I dislike the Watt Juice Extractor because the pulp is wet and the way it shoots out to the catcher causes spinach and other leafy veggies to shoot out into the catcher before they can be juiced. I may return to the original juicer since it seemed to work Anything I juiced has never given me a problem. Potato juice is as plentiful as those found in yams, beets, and parsnips. Though I am not quite sure for what reason you would want to juice one. this juicer is better than the others due to the presence of cucumber skins and parsley stems in the juice (such as with the Breville juicers). Neither this nor any other model has ever given me problems like that.

It's not worth the money
3/5

Reviews for this have been positive, but I am not sure how that is possible. I thought it was going to work, but it went downhill after the first day. began leaking from the sides, and the pulp was standing in a pool of water. Having been using the Breville for 10 months, I called and they sent me a new blade since that's what normally happens after that period of time. Within a few days of using the new blade (which took a total of 5) It was leaking pulp again after 5 weeks. After the return date has passed and the juicer won't work, I have no alternative but to call them.

I gave this review my honest opinion
3/5

My excitement at getting this in and how excited I was to use it had no limits. After the first few juices, the pulp was pastey and super dry, with a pastey texture. On my fourth attempt of using this juicer, I noticed that it was leaking out the sides and I had a puddle of juice under the juicer when I was finished (can't imagine how that's possible since it looks so airtight, but it's not). It was pretty clear that the pulp area of the container had more juice in it than the container where the juice should have dispensed- There is so much juice in it that I can drink it like a smoothie with a straw. As of this week, I have yet to use it for a full week. I am rather disappointed in this purchase. You may want to read this review if you desire something that will last as long as possible. The best juicer to get would be to spend more on a more quality one.

The item appeared to be used

This juicer is a new purchase for me. It was my first time trying the product, so I opened the package for a test run. When I opened the product, I noticed condensation on the inside. When I removed the top, mold was visible on the product as well as it appearing as if there were food particles in almost seems as if it had been used previously. The product has a bad odor. I would love to try it, but I do not want to use such a product. In an attempt to resolve my issue, I immediately called Breville but their phone line was having technical difficulties.

It's been 2 years, and I love it! Then, add this Juicer is awesome, awesome, awesome! I have used it for two years, and it is still in great shape! It is something we use on a regular basis
5/5

You should immediately spray/scrub the fine strainer after use after using all of the parts and after spraying out all the parts. You will get a nice, clear result after doing this. I do not even use soap half the time. I just spray it all down the sink and let it sit there (putting the large chunks in the trash, obviously), and then I spray some type of food-grade sanitizer on top. If you leave it there idly, it will grow too nasty for you to deal with later. OH, and you can use all of that fibrous stuff that the juicer spits into the main compartment to make healthy muffins, too if you'd like! It's something my wife has done a number of times, and she gets great results every time. Therefore, you are getting the healthy juice as well as a great amount of Please note the following regarding There are some super heavy duty quality parts in this juicer. In as much as I got my parents into juice, I did the same for them. To start, they bought a Hamilton Beach Juicer, then they bought a Jack Lalanne Juicer. Breville outlasted BOTH of them for the past TEN YEARS, so I am very happy with my purchase. Wishing you a long and healthy life! I have attached my video for your viewing pleasure.

Added this bad boy to my Christmas wish list at the last minute
5/5

Added this bad boy to my Christmas wish list at the last minute. The reviews on this juicer do seem to be very positive, no matter whether or not it is considered the best juicer. The $200-$250 I would have needed to juice my body was too high since I had never juiced before In order to get the "best" that was available, $300 was needed. It was a pleasant surprise to see this little guy. This is a very simple assembly. The cleaning process is very easy. This is an extremely easy to use program. Though I'm not sure if I'm doing the healthiest thing, I basically throw everything plus the kitchen sink into it until I get something I'd like You can basically eat spinach, celery, apples, oranges, limes, beets, cucumbers, pears, ginger, and whatever is in the fridge. It seems that when it is done, the pulp is relatively dry and the juice is ready to drink. It is the pulp that I keep, and my wife adds that to her meals or smoothies, and Given that I bought it for $55 and that it was on sale, it has to be one of the best investments I have I've made only one small mess so far (and it was in my bedroom).

There are many reasons for my disappointment
3/5

There was a crack in the plastic reservoir holding the pulp. There are many reasons for my disappointment. In a short time, the plastic reservoir holding the pulp began to crack. The crack was large, comparable to that seen in a windshield, and the water went straight The machine performed very well in all other respects. My only problem is that I can't use a machine that will cause pulp to leak out. There's no point in spending the money on it. With nothing to juice in the fridge except vegetables and fruit, I am left with a fridge full of food.

A great machine at a great price
5/5

It took me a couple of days, but I did finally get around to using this juicer. Using a juicer is the first time I've ever done so, and it's so easy to do. While I wasn't sure whether it would be loud, I was pleasantly surprised by the quietness of it. Nevertheless, I simply wanted to try it out and see how it works, so I used 2 apples (cores removed), about 5 fairly large pieces of pineapple, about 15 or so strawberries, 3/4 of a lemon (peel removed) and an orange (peel removed as well). After dropping the fruits in the juicer, it heated up in about one minute and I had an awesome pitcher of fresh juice. At first I wasn't sure how much fruit to use but I will probably cut back on it next time. All the fruits I used were organic, so this stuff is amazing. I can't wait to try it with some vegetables later. In relation to the cleaning process, everything you need to access can be accessed by pulling back the locking arm on top of the unit, and everything just lifts out easily for My favorite part of it is the brush that comes with it, and I use that to clean the mesh screens. Because I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money on my first juicer, I decided to purchase this one, since I had heard a lot of good things about the Breville juicers. The unit I chose is just what I was looking for. There is plenty of space in the kitchen and it is At a quarter the volume it sounds like someone is blowing a vacuum. This unit was a good purchase and I recommend it to anyone in need of a good juicer at a reasonable price.

A month into use and already the entire thing is leaking! Wasting my money like this is utterly ridiculous
3/5

A month ago, I purchased this item. I thought I would keep it after the first 2 weeks since it worked so well. It was thrown away after I threw it away. I noticed it leaked on the side afterwards, but only a tiny amount so I was not too concerned. Yet, the juice I'm getting is decreasing as the bottom of the spout leaks more and more. After using three packets of celery (normally I get 500 calories just with one or one and a half packages), the second picture is shown. My purchase was very disappointing and I am unable to return it since I already threw away the box. I hate it!.
