It has a fishy odor to it, as if it had been used before, and the box it came in was damaged, as if it had come from a liquidation store.

Worth it! This product is great because it's simple to use and the lid keeps grease from getting in your eyes

The only drawback is that you'll need a substantial amount of oil to fill it up, but not an excessive amount, perhaps a bottle and a half. Small amounts of food can be fried at a time.
