Three chickens cannot be fried at the same time in this pan. It has the potential to do so. If you follow all of the pan's instructions, the oil will not be very deep, and it will not be deep enough to cook large pieces of food. This pan is best for small food items that won't overcrowd the pan.
It appears to be entirely made of stainless steel.
Yes, you can use a propane burner for this. Just make sure there's plenty of liquid in the pot to help the heat dissipate.
The pot has an ID of 12 1/2" and a height of 6 1/2".

Overall, it appeared to be a reasonably durable product, though the metal was a little thin. In any case, it appeared to be capable of frying a large batch of fried egg rolls. Let's go back to the night before last. When I begin to smell burning oil, it's on the stove, over a large burner, filled with a large amount of oil. I dash to the stove, only to discover that the entire burner well is flooded with oil, which is causing a lot of smoke. I turned the fryer over and discovered a pin hole in the side, which was the source of the oil stream. Right before the whole thing went up in flames, I snapped a quick photo of the oil leak (see photo). We were fortunate to have a fire extinguisher on hand. So, not only did this product almost cause a fire, but it also severely damaged my GE Monogram cooktop (which was flooded with oil). corroded by the residue of a fire extinguisher). This is something that, in my opinion, should be avoided at all costs.
VERY DANGEROUS. I've had this product for a while but have only used it once. When the pan is overheated, the bottom bows, causing it to wobble. I was afraid of a disaster at the time, so I never used it again.
This fryer set appears to be well-made and performs admirably. Because the materials used were strong and of high quality, attaching the handle was the most difficult part. I didn't want to take the handle off once it was attached, but it makes storage a lot easier. Since it was delivered, we've had two fantastic meals. It's ideal for cooking about 4-pounds of meat. 6 medium- sized fish fillets at a time, and I'm looking forward to trying out some new recipes this weekend.
This stainless-steel fryer unit is stunning. I've used it several times and find it to be very useful. Although the stainless is a little thin, it is exactly what I would expect for the price, which was relatively low for stainless. I'm a big fan because it's thicker than my previous aluminum unit. Because there are no instructions, installing the handle was a little difficult, but I am mechanically inclined. In about three minutes, I figured it out and installed it with the help of a screwdriver and a small pair of pliers. Because of a particularly bad review I read, I put off purchasing this unit. I couldn't be happier with it now that I've made the purchase.
BEWARE. The bottom of the pot bowed out on the heat the first time it was used, and because it wasn't completely flat, it began to wobble back and forth. With hot oil in it, this is extremely dangerous. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS MANUFACTURING DEFEAT! IN ADDITION TO BEING DANGEROUS! If I were Bayou Classic, I'd make the necessary changes. or be ready to face legal action if someone is injured as a result of the flaw in the construction. Very dissatisfied. br>br>.
The state of this pan was dreadful! It was filthy and had a broken handle.
This cookware is of the poorest quality I have ever seen! The box didn't include any product information or directions. It took a pair of pliers to compress the two attaching rods to the basket bracket, which required a pair of pliers to attach the handle. Because the pot's bottom is so thin, it's easily broken. The frying basket does not sit properly on the ledge of the outer pot, causing it to hang down in the back (as shown in the photo). The lid is too big for the pot. The basket appears to be stuck inside the pot because the pot appears to be bent. Various areas of the pot have been burnished rather than polished, revealing shoddy workmanship. br>br>When purchasing this fryer, the sale price was not a deciding factor, and I would have paid much more for better quality. Currently, the cookware is of poor quality. No one can use it as a standard.
It's been very useful to me for a long time. This has given me fantastic wings. I was able to make larger batches of wings fries without having to lower the oil temperature, which resulted in crispy wings. To help you keep track of the temperature, get a candy thermometer.
