My van conversion required a blender that could hold 3 cups and could provide me with the fiber and protein drinks that my doctor ordered each day. It did seem like an adequate choice to us.

But as other reviewers noted, you need to be Hulk Hogan or King Kong in order to turn it on. When I first opened the interlock, I thought the button was in the wrong place. But when I read reviews and looked more carefully, I found that the bumps on the blade base that go into the locking slots in the base needed to be carved off with a utility knife. When the cup is running, the bumps are supposed to lock it into place, but without them, the grip is still tight enough to hold on to. You have to exert a considerable effort to turn the cup into the on position now. As far as blending power goes, I have only used it I will try to make ice and update this review as soon as I do. It seems to have trouble handling heavy items such as ice. With the modification to the locking mechanism, the blender seems adequate if the locking mechanism is modified. The light came on as it should, but it didn't turn on. As promised, I followed instructions. Although there were arrows on either side, they did not line up perfectly and I could not twist it any more. Items like this one have been returned to me. I didn't want to replace it because it looked really nice, and it could have been just this one. Trying a different brand is on my list.

I don't recommend it. Immediately after I unpacked it and took it out of the box While I had the machine assembled the blade part, along with other small pieces that could not be replaced and put back on, just fell apart. I hadn't even gotten a chance to use it for my smoothie. While the cup that comes with it is great, I would not recommend the blender itself.

I mix my smoothie thoroughly and the ice is broken down completely with it. My smoothie consists of powder and liquid mostly, and I am using those pop out mini cubes. Almost all of the powder that sticks to the side gets sucked into the mix, which is great. This blender is built very well and will last for a long time. There is no doubt that this blender is well suited for those blades and mixing cups, and its solid construction makes it seem even more durable. In the future, I might buy again, but I don't see myself doing so for some time.

I like how easy it is to use, and how easy it is to Storage and transport are made easy with the two cups and lids. Although it can be a good product, it is not as potent as others. I needed more liquid than I had originally planned to use to get the job done.
