Since I purchased this hand blender over 4 years ago, it has served me well. I have been very pleased with the performance of the hand blender. There are 3 different speeds and all the parts are dishwasher safe, apart from the food chopper, so it has a lot to offer. Smoothies and all kinds of pureed sauces have been made with the hand blender. Despite being very careful when using it, I found that the plastic blender cup that came with it is very easily scratched. It is extremely easy for the cup to spill, no matter how slowly I go, I will occasionally still splash food all over the counter and end up wasting My only wish would be that the blender cup came with a lid with a hole in the middle that fits over the immersion part of the blender to keep food from flying out of it. I also noticed water was trapped inside the lid of the chopper attachment after just a few uses. I was unable to shake the lid to remove the water. I could still hear water swooshing around inside the lid no matter how much I tried to remove it. It was then that the lid started to smell, and after a closer look, it had a small amount of brown liquid leaking out. It was kind of gross. The chopper attachment had just ceased to be used and was placed inside of the back of my cupboard until I recently had to clean and came across it. Because I got the hand blender separately, I felt ripped off since I paid more for this set than for The reviews on KitchenAid's website about this issue dating back to 2015, with an average rating of 2 stars, indicate that this is a common problem. Despite the obvious design flaw in the chopper attachment, KitchenAid did not seem to be able to completely fix it. Years ago, I had an old KitchenAid immersion blender that I used to love. Immersion blenders typically perform well, but this one is disappointing. In comparison to the older model, this one is noticeably inferior in quality. There is an economical cost of the materials, as well as a weaker blender. In addition, the whisk attachment does not lock securely as it fits on the blender arm, so I constantly have to hold it in place as I operate.

It is difficult to keep the blender arm attached to its It doesn't chop much when the chopper is running. Attempts to cut carrots were unsuccessful, and herbs just kept turning over without being chopped. We had no issues with the onions. Weakness is a characteristic of this power. The hand blender I use has served me well for 20 years, so I know what to expect. It was a really bad idea for me to try out the KitchenAid brand. That was such a letdown!.

felt that this blender was not powerful enough, so I was disappointed. A while back, I had an old Kitchenaid immersion blender, which I loved. I used to blend and chop anything with it. Unfortunately, after 10 years of daily use, it There was no way to chop baby carrots using the chopper attachment in this blender. It was returned to me for a Braun that's a little more expensive in comparison, but works.
