Questions & Answers

How does it work? Does it need to be plugged in or does it run off batteries?

The plug is a three-pronged plug for outlets that operate at 120 volts. A cord of approximately a meter in length. The length of the tube is 32".

Are the lengths of the unit from top to bottom and also from the seam to the bottom the same? Do you know if it will reach the bottom of my peanut butter when mixing it?

In the product specifications listed on Amazon, you can find the dimensions for the total size of the unit. One of the most important measurements is from the seam to the bottom of the mixing device, which is 5 inches. I am 75 inches tall. The Smart Stick has been in my kitchen for almost two years and I use it every day to puree just about everything, but I haven't thought about mixing peanut butter with it until now. I'm going to respond to your question by saying If you keep it in the jar long enough, it will reach the bottom. I don't usually buy kitchen gadgets, but this device has become my obsession, and I had to buy one for every family member and friend.

How is the shaft cleaned? Does the entire shaft need to be removed? Are the blades enclosed in a silver guard that is metal or plastic? It was a pleasure working with ?

A simple push of the button takes care of removing the shaft. There is a metal guard on the silver shaft, in fact there is metal throughout the shaft.

Are ice cubes capable of being blended?

The blender has been in my possession for a while. My abuse of it included ice cubes from an ice tray that were big and chunky. After around 4 years, after getting impatient after the blade broke (my ice maker broke) the blade finally broke. It is unlikely that you would have that problem if you used crushed or chipped ice from the store. You would be better off freezing fruit simply to be on the safe side when making smoothies.

In my experience, this is the first time I have bought a bestseller on Amazon and it turned out to be awful
3/5

Get a taste of some of the most popular recreational reading. This warning applies! In contrast with past positive reviews on this model, the newer model is NOT what you will find today. On the new model, the lock switch is on the top, so you have to use both hands in order to operate In my experience, this is the first time I have bought a bestseller on Amazon and it turned out to be awful. If you read the most recent reviews of this blender, most of them point out how awkward and inconvenient it is now that the lock switch has been added. having to press and hold any of the physical buttons on a TV remote control with your left hand just to use any of the normal buttons with your right hand. That's what this blender is like. Please avoid it, and you will save yourself a great deal of frustration.

The device is operated by two hands
3/5

A one-hand control has been replaced by a two-hand control on this product. As well as the High or Low button on the top, the new model has a button that must be pressed. In my opinion, most people would need to use both hands to operate the device. It shows one of the old designs. Before the extra button was added, the video shows the old design. It seemed to me that the device was defective at first, but the instructions in the manual indicate the unit must be pressed both times. Top of the button is an indicator that it's Upon returning the unit, I made a refund. The other units on the shelf did not have the extra button. Only one unit at a local retailer did not have it.

There is no "Safety" button, so it is virtually impossible to use
3/5

A long time ago, the Cuisinart Smart Stick was one of my most frequently used kitchen appliances. In the end, the motor gave out after more than a decade of service. It was obvious to me that I wanted to replace the item with the same, flawless, simple design as the one I lost last week.
This item is not it. There is a two button, a high-speed version of it I can get over I guess it's time for some It's the safety locking mechanism that stops me from getting past. The switch is so poorly placed that I cannot use one hand to operate the blender (because I must hold it awkwardly with my other hand so it doesn't spin out of control) or I have to use both hands to activate the safety and Since you cannot operate the blender by pulling your finger off both the safety and the power buttons at the same time.
Yes, once it runs you can let go of the safety, but then it locks in the off position as soon as you pull your finger off to pulse. Especially given that this is such a terrible design, I am shocked that it has yet to gain traction as a product.
How does the product manage to garner positive The new immersion blender is a abomination compared to the old one. The product was sent back to me and I won't buy one again. I am done with you, crap stick. Not interested in your brand any more. It's okay that your long-lost older sibling was loved and missed but the same is not true of you.

This blender comes with terrible controls and is difficult to operate
3/5

It is undoubtedly the worst appliance I have ever purchased for my kitchen. Smart Stick CSB-based Cuisinart Smart Stick control bar I am not a fan of 75BC. On their own, the two side buttons (labeled LOW and HIGH) are hard (and tiresome) to press and maintain Because the top button (safety button) is positioned such that you must hold it down and press one of the speed buttons with your other hand, you have to use your other hand. Thus, it is necessary to use two hands when using a blender The mixing vessel will not last very long if you don't have three hands (or a helper). That was the worst arrangement ever. You may want to consider shopping elsewhere in the future. I have used it with my other immersion blender that also has reasonable control, and it seems to work reasonably well. As I have not had the chance to use it much, I can't speak to its According to the previous statement, shoppers look elsewhere for goods. Although the blending beaker is a bit out of the ordinary, it is.

As much as your products stink, so do your policies
3/5

The Cuisinart Smart stick was the second I've owned. It has been five years since I had to replace the original one due to the plastic gears wearing Upon further inspection, the blade on the second unit was broken A couple of months after being installed, it was starting to rust. In the end, Cuisinart was willing to send me a replacement if I paid $10 for shipping the new unit and another $10 in shipping to send back Is that true? A warranty is almost the same as what I paid for the unit, so how can that be considered I took my business to another location. I agree with you, Cuisinart's policy is as bad as their.

This is a dumb stick
3/5

Across the face of the earth, a torture stick. This dip stick is designed by a dip stick. It is tragic to see something so ill-fated The project has been re-advised Despite its attractive appearance, the design features a woefully inconvenient and poorly executed lock-system An out button is located on top of the unit that needs to be constantly pressed When the speed button is released, the speed button is engaged. That means there will be no more PULSING of sauces or soups. As an ergonomic design feature, the high and low speed buttons are not ergonomically designed to stay on without brute force and awkward hand positions. A blending process that is intuitive. This would be the product that a product designer would come up with if he was trying to create the most uncomfortable, inconvenient, and poorly designed stick blender. If Cuisinart is considering the potential damage to your surroundings should you ever lose your temper and throw the thing across the room, they must consider the potential damage to your surroundings when this happens. Thanks to Amazon, I received a refund.

It was awkward two-to-one Use of large hands (or hands that are too big to use) is necessary
3/5

I have a 7-year-old son In the year It was the old Cuisinart Smart Stick that finally died, and I assumed this would replace it. Strangely, it doesn't come from a single source Any operation that uses touch is a no-no. At the top is a button that prevents accidentally pressing it. In pictures, the safety button can be seen as a lump, while video clearly demonstrates a different version without it. I can't manage to push the power button and hold on to the blender with one hand at the same time, thinking this will burn me so I hold the safety button down while pressing either high or low power on the side The operation can be done with two, but it begins to sound silly. Even though I already disposed of the box, I hope Amazon will take it back.
