In my last attempt, I used a wide mouth mason jar. Those don't exist in this one. A high degree of disappointment. Adding the ingredients to a larger container and transferring them can be a lot more work and mess
The blender I use is great, and I do not suffer from arthritis. The Cuisinart blender with inversion was easier to handle for me (I found the size to be much easier). Furthermore, I agree that it's very difficult to detach the head so that it can be cleaned. The seconds and effort aren't much of an issue for me, but I might consider the other for someone with arthritis, since they both have similar features. Overall, I prefer this hand blender, but I'd recommend the other for someone with arthritis, since they're both quite similar.
These foods will be blended best with the BSB510XL Control Grip*, but can be chopped with it as well. It is covered with blades that hold the small pieces of food or ice between them because they are kept under the blades and in contact with them until they are In order to fit under that cover, the food pieces would have to be very small, and the food items would have to be blended in small amounts since 30 continuous seconds should not be exceeded
The handle together with the cord weighs 1.79 oz and the immersion blender attachment weighs 11oz, for an overall weight of 2.41 oz.

I found the power to be adequate for our needs. There was a blending head on this machine that was not sealed, so the stuff you were blending got up inside. After it washes you can hear the liquid within sloshing around and there's no way to get it out unless you take it apart. Is it really a good idea for it to leak into.
As well as making juices and baby food, I used the Breville Immersion Blender to prepare smoothies for my daughter. A year later, I made a fruit smoothie with frozen fruit, some ice, and juice. I placed all ingredients in the blender container and turned it on. After 10 seconds of upward and circular motions with the Blending Shaft, the wand snapped. There are circles in the photograph that indicate what I circled. However, I have not yet found a solution to the problem.
My review has been changed in order to reflect my After using this machine for 13 months, I was very pleased with how well it worked. When it had finished, it simply stopped. He is dead. As long as I followed the instructions and blended briefly in short intervals with little rests between, I used it several times a week. In exchange for $90, I expected to get to know the product for at least four or five years. Although I miss having it, I do not have the confidence to invest in another, and I am leery of buying a cheaper brand since this expensive one lasted so short. Shame on you, Breville!.
This immersion blender has been in our possession for just over three years now. Mostly we used it to create smoothies four to five times a week. Having used it for three years and two months, it has been great. Following that, we came to an end. There was a screech and a whine, then a halt, and then it was silent. When I called Breville, they told me that just the motor/base cannot be purchased separately. The rest of the attachments are not needed. If we need another, we will look for a replacement motor/base first. There is also the option of buying a commercial grade immersion blender, which is twice the price. Robot Coupe and Waring make commercial immersion blenders, but the warranties are only for The way they make 'em now is very different from the way they used to.
This is about two years old, so I bought it at the time. Last week, I used it for the first time. I ended up never using this, but I finally got it out. It was a surprise when I discovered that the power unit could not be plugged into There is a request from the power unit for a 6-watt power supply There are four tab connections and all the attachments contain four A tab has a larger diameter than a tab. It is something you don't usually see on items you purchase. Sorry for not checking this out earlier. This is a warning to everyone who might be considering this purchase. There may be a lack of attention to detail and quality at the company.
As soon as the whisk attachment is connected, the power is very low The mixer does not perform well at the highest speed - it is adequate but not great. Whipping cream can be made from it, but that's about it. I think this whisk attachment is built so cheaply that it appears to be made to fail, which is exactly what my one In the past five years, I have probably used the whisk 20 times, and during each usage, the shaft shattered the cheap plastic base that is mounted inside the shaft holder. It has been over 100 years since people have been making whisks/beaters for this type of appliance. Why, then, did you feel the need to make it disposable? My wife stopped using it to make smoothies, because the ingredients have to be chopped up into small pieces for it to work - it is adequate for mixing drinks with the blending attachment, but not for making smoothies. If she does not do this, she will have to fight the thing to get it right It was a Ninja that she finally purchased which she uses every day. This system has one attachment that lived up to our expectations, and that is the helicopter The small screen does the trick, despite its size Since it is so rarely used, I am not sure how long it will last. Summary This unit appears to have a higher degree of versatility than it actually does. The handheld blender may not be any worse than others if you like to use a handheld blender, but do not buy it for the alternate attachments, as it falls short here.
My original purpose for buying the Breville BXB51XL Immersion Blender was to make breakfast smoothies because I was tired of disassembling and cleaning my stand blender every time I used it. Fast and powerful, the blender is an excellent choice for home use. The blender makes quick work of turning ice, fruit, and yogurt into a smoothie once you master the technique of raising and lowering the blender. Aside from that, I was intrigued by how nicely the blender blends without splatter or splashes because of the way the blades and shield wrap around each other. This plastic mixing container is conveniently designed with a handle for holding the container whilst blending, and that top when flipped through and placed underneath acts as a skid proof cushion to keep the container from sliding around on the countertop whilst mixing. In addition to soups or other liquids, the container and top can also be used to store them In my opinion, the blender does a better job of blending liquid-based creations (smoothies, milk shakes, soups), but when equipped with the chopper attachment, I can chop vegetables, onions, etc. Whipping up cream or beating eggs with a whisk attachment is a breeze. In addition to being super easy to clean, the blades are protected by a shroud, which makes this a very safe appliance. There is only one potential drawback and that is that someone with very small hands may find the grip to be too large. However, due to the cushioned grip and trigger switch, I find it The following cautionary note should be heeded When you order the Breville blender from Amazon, you are recommended a chrome milkshake mixing cup. In addition, the cup's base is too small to fit within the base of a blender, so the blender blade attachment cannot be used with it. Rather than a milkshake cup, I would pass. In one leading consumer magazine, this blender is rated higher than ones costing two and a half times as much. Using those recommendations, as well as the Amazon customer reviews, I found a fantastic kitchen tool at a very good price.
