This is an incorrect description. It was specifically purchased because of two reasons 1) It was advertised as being made in the USA and 2) It My surprise was great when I saw it had been made in China when it was delivered.
My favorite immersion blender is this one. There is so much power in it. It seems that the plastic parts of my laptop keep breaking. Cheap plastic is used to make the inside of the head, which cracks and breaks easily. If that's the case, you can't snap it shut. Three of them have already been read to me. There is also a cheap plastic ring that breaks in a week on the motor part. Is it really necessary to use cheap plastic in such an outstanding product?.
