I read all the one-star reviews and I thought that it was just that they didn't seal the package well enough. A proper ring should be used. As a result, I bought these "GENUINE" colored I P When we used the RED, we would use it for our spicy food (we eat a lot of Indian food and spicy food). We used the clear pot that came with the Instant Pot for veggie cooking the clear pot for various other things. (We are vegetarians) and the Blue we would use whenever we cook anything sweet. My first thought was the same as yours. Inspecting the two rings as soon as they arrived was my very first step. "Instant Pot SR-" was across the tops of BOTH of the boxes The following are the specifications of the Instant Pot SR - 03GB Approximately 4GB. I had gotten a few problems using the "ring" from the IP, but we had used it several times with no Then my wife used the Red ring to seal the IP but it failed to do so. What a horrible thing to do. We have two pieces of news. Currently, there is a lot of steam coming out of the IP from all the corners of the lid, and the IP is not coming to pressure. Therefore, what is the proper Thank you for your understanding. My wonderful wife didn't quite seat the sealing ring properly at first, so I assumed she did it wrong. That's all there is to it. I was convinced this would not be a problem if I ALWAYS sat Most often, we use the clear ring when preparing a veggie recipe. when I was ready to use the red ring again, I seated it on the desk. Lastly, I made absolutely sure that the ring was "seated" correctly. YET AGAIN IT FAILED! It worked perfectly once we replaced it with a clear ring. "Color" rings on both hands have fallen apart. YOU SAID IT MORE THAN ONCE! And I was the one who initially made sure that the rings were properly seated We now face a series of questions. Do these rings appear to be The manufacturer's poor tolerances? Or maybe the company simply has poor manufacturing standards?.
The mistake I made was mine. We suspected that the lack of sealing was the result of interference from the Instant Pot silicone trivet, which has long handles that protrude over the top of the 6-cup cooking pot. A lid for a quart pot has to be folded just right when it is locked in place. Now I find that it even sometimes causes problems with the seal ring attached to my Instant Pot when I use it initially. The silicone trivet (a very nice accessory) can make it difficult to turn the lid clockwise to the seal point. Remove the lid, slightly rotate the long edges of the trivet, and then turn the lid clockwise to the seal point. You can try again once you have handled the trivet. So far, I've given the rings four points and I will continue to rate them once I have a chance to test them further.
For my Duo 6qt, I bought the 6qt size. They are definitely the wrong size. The backs are Comparison between my IP and the clear rig that came with it is shown in the images. Make sure you are careful.
There is only one complaint we have It is surrounded by an inner Spices play an important part of the food we cook (and they are often quite pungent). After some Tika Masalas, spicy Korean soups, and jerk fried rice (our first few evening meals), we ate It was delicious to eat seasoned chicken. In any case, my apple crumble ended up being a bit I would not recommend this. We began with flavors that had no place in a desert of sweetness, and the sealing ring was unable to eliminate the scent and color of our first spices, which ruined the more savory meals we would enjoy later. I have a ring for sweet, a ring for spicy, and now I have one for savory. There is no confusion over the colors, and each ring has the same quality as the one that comes Price-wise, you're not going to find a better deal. There is no such thing as too much of it.
It was bought a few months ago and I have tried it several times since then. A red ring seals the instant pot, but it does not seal completely. In my two years of owning my pot, I have never had a problem with it dealing with the original silicone ring. I have used it constantly and do not regret my purchase of these silicone rings. This red one is the only.
The gasket should be cleaned and replaced after every use, according to directions. You will then have a good seal when using pressure. In some cases, a cook is too busy to clean every little thing, or the gasket is in the dishwasher, or you're in the midst of cooking something in the Instant Pot, removing it, then moving on to something else simultaneously. It was possible that the first thing was fish, or something equally persistent and pungent. It's for this reason that you need to keep a few gaskets on hand. There are no differences between these gaskets and the original that came with the Pot, other than the color. There will be no upside down installation since the top and bottom are symmetrical. It may be possible to use the colors as a dietary restriction code - Whether it's vegan cooking or any other type of cooking, perhaps. Easy to use. And the gasket on the Instant Pot may get nicked or crimped when you use it for too long. Although they are robust, they are not guaranteed to last forever, so they are unlikely to die soon. There is no insurance against Murphy's Law, but a spare set of gaskets is an excellent addition. The results are pleasing to me. You can buy these spare gaskets at a low cost as.
since using brands that are not IP can void the warranty for the appliance. Secondly, I don't want to guess whether an off-the-shelf product is a good product If a brand worked as well as it did, then it would be acceptable. These sealing rings for the food industry are just what I was looking for for a while. There are different colors for each food, which makes it easy to know what color belongs to what. As the smell of pressure cooked pot roast filled the ring, I understood what was going on. I could think of in order to eliminate the residue smell, but nothing worked. As a result, the delicate flavor of the egg bites and muffin bites were impacted because of the residue savory odor in the ring. The news is not It seems like my taste buds are especially sharp I could taste the slight savoriness in the meal. Furthermore, since the sealing ring is vital to pressure cooking, I do not wish to go to all the effort of preparing foods for PC cooking only to discover the ring is faulty. Backup rings are what I need. This is a good price for 3 rings, especially when compared to the cost of one ring alone. It is recommended that you purchase the Instant Pot appliance brand in order to buy an IP.
