Instant Pot Sealing Ring 2 Pack Clear 8 Quart, IP-Sealing Ring Clear Combo, 8 Qt

There are a variety of options to replace the original sealing ring on our Instant Pot, so I read reviews of them all. A number of complaints were made about the item being a bootleg, a knockoff, not working, and so on. As carefully as I could, I chose an item that would fit our Instant Pot, making sure it was made to fit our model - The following recipe yields 8 quarts. This was the last of the IP Duos. Moreover, as I searched through the list, I tried to find out which items were not made by third parties, but by Instant Pot. The item in question was again the one mentioned above.
I am very happy to report that the items in fact are real Instant Pot-certified items All of the accessories should be specifically designed for the IP Duo and the IP Duo should work and install correctly. We cooked rice in one of them last night and it worked fine.

So if you have an 8-quart, chances are it will work. If you would like the IP Duo model, you've found the correct and authentic item.

I used these in my Instant Pot Duo 8qt and they worked well. In my case, I bought the unit second hand. I had to replace the seal when I could not build pressure and the "burn" warning popped up. Another reason I like it is it comes in a two pack, so I can have one for sweets,.

This is what I ordered 2 There are 8 sealing rings in each 8-quart bag. Upon receiving Instant Pot, there was only one seal as it was sent in the wrong pot size. Upon looking at the sticker someone added over the barcode, it matched exactly Although the original packaging contained exactly what was indicated, one 6 qt, it's too bad this was all there was in there. An adhesive sealing ring is used.

Adding this to your Instant Pot is a must. Each use of the ring should be followed by a thorough cleaning. If you leave it in place and wash it inside the lid, you'll never get it clean if it's in the lid, you can never get it clean. After washing it in hot soapy water and rinsing it well, I dried it with a towel. In the case that it needs to be cleaned further, I will put the ring in the instant pot, add 18 oz of water, put the lid on with a new ring on top, and pressure cook it for 5 minutes on the normal setting. Remove the ring from the pot and repressurize with normal pressure. Empty the instant pot, remove the ring from the lid and allow everything to I love the way it works.

The update is These rings fit perfectly on the lid of the Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus. Keeping them close to my heart was a good thing. The advertising of these rings needs to be changed by Instant Pot. This is the second set of rings I have ordered that do not fit in my InstaPot DUO80

I found it extremely frustrating to have new rings that did not fit. It was the blue and red set first. The size is way too large. chose to stick with the clear ones and this is how they appear. It's a bit too big. Having to return a second time is not something I want to deal with!.

I am able to use these rings for my 8 quart Instant Pot. With regards to sealing, I had no problems. As my original ring was starting to smell, I was so glad I ordered two, so I could change it every two weeks instead of all at once. The silicone ring takes a small amount of time to absorb scent, so in the future I plan on buying two colors and keeping one for more odorous recipes and the other for odorless.

As expected, it works. There is a smell that holds on to my original sealing ring. It didn't taste good once it was cooked! I wanted a different way to make yogurt. All of my meals that are not savory taste great with this product.

This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you. The 8qt containers I ordered were incorrect, so I had to return them, but I ordered the 6qt containers. I was told that it would be better to have one for sweet things and one for savory ones. The hard way was the only way for me to learn. You would not think fishy oatmeal is as good as you think it is. Oh my. Haha. It is recommended that you get an extra one.
