There is something different about this milling blade compared to my old one. The gasket is a dark gray color, and there is no need to remove it to clean it. It is obvious that the older blade has a clear gasket and notched edges to make it easy to remove and clean. Is the grey gasket an improvement over the old design? As time progresses, we will find out.
As far as I know, a compatible model should work fine.
Spices, which I purchase in bulk, are cheaper than individual spices. My blade allows me to grind the seed or leaf into a fine powder, whether it's dried or fresh.
Since the original one had grown slack and noisy, I thought it would be a good idea to purchase a new nutribullet milling blade. I switched to a new blade and it appears to be producing a coarser result. As I can see, it's a bit different from the original.
However, I think their life cycle is rather short. I use it to make milk shakes daily and it keeps going for roughly 10 days. The period is one year. Sooner or later, the bearing balls come out of their grooves, and the blade stops rotating.
My favorite way to grind fresh spices is with this grinder. The texture it creates is finely ground and looks great. It's possible to break cinnamon sticks, even tough ones!.
I've had my Nutrillet "Magic Bullet" for nearly a decade now, and this is an excellent addition to it. My child found this blade at a yard sale and I bought it so I could make my own peanut butter without any fillers. It works well. When I already use the Magic Bullet to make my green smoothies every morning, I don't really have a need to buy yet another appliance. I am very pleased with this.
