The belt needs to be replaced in the machine, however, how do you do that?

This item fits exactly as it did on This is simple to do if you take your time, have a calm attitude, and have a couple of screwdrivers on hand. It's amazing how quickly your bread machine can be restored to its former glory. The project is a great way to learn how to patch things around the house and is a lot less expensive than purchasing a new one. You will not regret spending time and money on this.

I love it! There is a new belt and an old belt (15 years old)

I saw a YouTube video on how to install this and it was remarkably easy, since the outside of the device has clips inside the case to hold the device in place. For the inner liner, I had some trouble getting the screws back on, but other than that, they're relatively easy to get on. For those small screws, you'll need a specialized magnetic screwdriver.

There is no need to purchase a new bread machine when a new belt can be purchased

I disintegrated the old belt on my bread machine due to age and usage. Once I took my Sunbeam machine apart, it became clear there was a problem so I ordered a new belt and received it in just It was easy to install on my computer and works It is much cheaper to buy a new bread maker rather than acquire one.

There may be a minor smell of burning rubber on the first use, but it should disappear within a few hours

There was a video on You Tube that I had to use for installation instructions, but all went smoothly. I am pleased to report that my wife is happy with the freshly baked bread we have now.
