The quality is excellent

The high quality of these baskets pleasantly surprised me. They're made of a poly product that fools the untrained eye into believing they're made of real rattan. On both of the pieces I received, the weaving is flawless, and I appreciate how much easier they are to keep clean than the real thing. br>I find both sizes to be extremely useful. The smaller one will be used for bread or muffins, while the larger one will be used to store non-refrigerable vegetables on my counter. For large holiday gatherings, I can also use it as a breadbasket. (wrapped in cloth napkins to keep the bread warm)br>br>I'm pleased with these!.

Imitation that appears to be very real

The wicker/rattan baskets made of plastic have a realistic appearance. The way the weave looks is a dead giveaway. You can't get wicker/rattan to look as good as this, and it also doesn't make the crinkle basket sound. It's not hard plastic and has some give, but it doesn't have the same feel as real rattan. Both have a metal hoop at the top/rim around which the basket is woven to keep its shape. These should be very easy to clean with soap and water because they are made of plastic. 9" wide by 2" tall round. 15. Rectangle 75 inches long, 11 7/8 inches wide, and 3 inches tall.
