I bought the tablecloth to keep a family heirloom safe. My husband and I decided to cut it to exact dimensions because I didn't want the extra folds of plastic hanging over the edges. On one side, we aligned the cover, clamped it to the table, and traced where we wanted to cut with a sharpie. We used a blade to cut through the cardboard that was sandwiched between the plastic and the table. We discovered that using a hair dryer to heat the plastic made it more pliable and easier to cut. I'm completely smitten with how it came out.

Because the company's many different dimensions did not fit my table, I planned to purchase the next-largest size available. As suggested by other commenters, I'll make it a larger size and cut it to fit on my own. I was hesitant to do so because I knew I wouldn't be able to return the cover for a replacement or refund if I made a mistake with the cuts. When I contacted the seller to express my concern, they were very understanding and accommodating. The representative advised me to buy the next smaller size (which was actually cheaper) and then send her an email with my order number and the exact dimensions we required for our table. To qualify for the custom service, I had to order the product directly from their warehouse rather than from an Amazon supplier (which was also less expensive-- plus shipping is free! She gave me very specific instructions on how to complete the order in this manner. I followed her directions, and the product arrived two weeks later-- It was also perfectly cut! They outperformed anything I could have done on my own. Because it was likely to shrink slightly in the first few weeks, the rep advised that they would leave it a few millimeters long on each side. There hasn't been any noticeable "shrinking" in my experience. However, the cover is well-fitting and complements our table beautifully! It's a high-quality product. It's made of high-quality material that stays put, is easy to clean, and hasn't scratched or clouded in the two months we've had it. br>br>The level of customer service they provided us is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare these days, and it was a breath of fresh air to work with a company that was so eager to meet their clients' needs.

But, because it was a porous wood coffee table that my boyfriend and I ate on all the time, I knew it would be destroyed quickly, and this piece of plastic was the perfect solution! It reminds me of those thick clear tablecloths that don't dangle over the edges and ruin the appearance of a nice table. It's not perfect, and it certainly doesn't look as nice as a custom-cut piece of glass, but it's also a fraction of the cost. It's also ideal for everyday use, such as eating, placing drinks, and not having to worry about staining or warping the wood. It's super easy to wipe down, and it's just as easy to roll up and store if you have company coming over and want to hide it (I personally don't think it looks good enough to hide it). The measurements aren't perfect; it hangs a smidgeon over the edge on all sides, which you could trim if you want it to be perfect, but I didn't see the point in doing so. It isn't a high-end custom-made piece of glass. This is the answer to messed-up fingers, crumbs, spills, kids, and boyfriends;.

Despite some people's opinions and reviews, I am SO GLAD I ordered this. I was worried that it would damage the wood or make it difficult to extend it over my dining table. However, I decided to give it a shot and order this for our newly purchased dining table. I'm really happy with it. Material is of good quality and can be used in a variety of ways. It doesn't move around. I haven't used the hair dryer or applied any heat to it yet, but I am pleased with how it looks now. I may trim the edges to make it fit, but my husband prefers it this way (about an inch larger than the table). If necessary, I will definitely purchase another one.

I waited for them to calm down for a while. They didn't do it. I tried rolling it in the opposite direction to make it flat; That didn't work either. When I contacted the seller, they suggested that I lay it out in the sun to warm it up and flatten it out. This did not work, and doing it somewhere without grass, gravel, dust, or dirt was a pain. I wasn't able to do any of these things. They sent a replacement after a back-and-forth with the seller. exactly the same problem It's been nearly a year, and I've been trying to keep it flat by keeping it under a weight. The hair is still wavy and ripply. This is what I ordered to protect our dining table from the kids' crafts. There's no way to put things on this cover because the waves will knock them over. Unless you don't need it flat, I don't recommend this product.

I have two small children and a lovely glass table. Because the table was becoming scratched, this product is an excellent solution. We've had it for nearly a year. Cleaning is a breeze! They didn't have our size table, so we bought a larger one and used a "stiletto" to cut two of the four sides. To me, it appears to be very close to perfection.
