I was disappointed that it was not worth the money

I was so disappointed. The first time I saw this, I was in love. However, it didn't take long before it fell apart! Not worth the price! There is separation of the top from the bottom of the casting, corrosion, and it needs to be replaced There is some weird crystal substance growing.

You cannot use this as an ashtray, it is just too pretty. There is a gorgeous engraving on this metal piece. It seems to be made of very high quality metal. Unlike many flip-down lids, the one on this one is sturdy, and stays up when it's flipped down. I absolutely love it when my parents visit. Those who smoke would find it to be an excellent gift.
