It's not going to happen. They're not sharp, and they're made on a shoestring budget! I bought these for my husband, who complained that the spoons were not curved, were of poor quality, and were not as sharp as grapefruit spoons should be. The knife, on the other hand, was a farce because it bent. He flung it out the window. We found better spoons for a lower price at Massa Market in Arizona, and they did what they were supposed to do. This is a product that I do not recommend!!.
For the money, this is a good deal. These aren't heirlooms, but they're a good set for slicing grapes with the knife and spoon. It makes eating grapefruit a lot easier. It makes everything a lot easier if you've never used these before. It's a lot easier right out of the box, but it gets even better after you've done it for a while.
This is the WORST grapefruit knife ever. The spoons turned out to be satisfactory. Because the knife is not curved and the serrations are too sharp, the part that separates the segments is cut. Obviously, the designer had never seen, much less eaten, a grapefruit.
This was a present for a friend who enjoys grapefruit but lacks the necessary tools. She was overjoyed to receive this set and reports that the knife and spoons work "perfectly," as well as the item's high quality. This was a low-cost present that brought joy to someone - That's a deal you can't refuse.
The wood handle is also inexpensive; I washed it once in the dishwasher and it absorbed all of the water! Although the price is low, they appear to be of lower quality than those found at a dollar store. What makes me even more concerned is the composition of the "silver metal. " br>My daughter adores grapefruit, but with the knife bending, she and I are in danger!.
This knife is ideal for cutting grapefruit into sections. Both sides are serrated and made of high-quality stainless steel. I've been looking for one of these knives in local stores, but none of them seem to have them. br>br>A great value for a great price, and as usual, very quick delivery!.
If I had to give it a score, I'd give it a three. It'd be more accurate to give it five stars. It's fine to use spoons. The knife handle does not appear to be very durable, which is to be expected at this price point. It was only used a couple of times - So far, everything has gone well. It just appears to be cheap.
These two utensils (knife and fork) To obtain an adequate size scoop of grapefruit pulp, use a spoon with jagged sharp sides. Grapefruit knives were once owned by my grandmother. Instead of trying to explain them to my husband, I decided to place an order for them. He was shown them. When it comes to eating grapefruit, he now only uses these utensils. oranges.
