It's rare that I come across a product that deserves 5 stars in every category (including features). I've bought a lot of stuff on Amazon - I've never put any of them in the "above and beyond Excellent" category, but this is the one that fits in perfectly. Then I added the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I received to this PERFECT PRODUCT, and all I have to say is: Delamu is a fantastic band! If it were possible, I would give this a perfect score of 100 stars. br>br>The Bamboo Sushi Kit as a whole is extremely well-made, simple to use, and clean, with a high-quality finish. End-of-the-line restaurant quality that is also long-lasting. It was presented in a very attractive manner, with clear, in-depth instructions. depth, and it's very simple to understand. My family had never made sushi before (including myself), but it was simple to do so (thanks to the enclosed instructions). Take a look at the photos, which show the entire process from preparing the ingredients to the finished product; my daughter did an amazing job combining these items to create "FISH-IN. " The "FREE SUSHI" with Pickled Ginger on top (as shown in the photos) was delicious! Finally, this is a set that I strongly recommend. This sushi set is fantastic. For a newbie like me, this is fantastic. The return on investment is outstanding. My wife really liked the vegan sushi I made for her. br>The key to making a sushi roll is to use the right rice, which I purchased as Koshihikari rice, which is a very short grain rice. Wash the rice in a bowl with cold water, then drain or use a colander. Rep until the water is clear, about three times. This allows you to get rid of any excess starch. It's easier for me to make it in a rice cooker. The proportion is 1 to 1. One cup rice equals one cup water, for example. After the rice has finished cooking, I stir in a half teaspoon of sushi seasoning liquid. Set aside for 5 minutes to allow time for the ingredients to meld. After that, evenly distribute rice on Nori. Fill the center of the roll with whatever you'd like. It should be rolled tightly. Serve by chopping it up.

This is exactly what a traditional bamboo sushi rolling mat should look like. There are some inherent flaws in that design, and while they are relatively easy to overcome, this bamboo sushi mat is as good as any I've seen. One issue is that the mats' design allows moisture from the rice and other ingredients to enter the string that connects the bamboo sticks. The most common method of avoiding this is to use cling wrap to create a barrier between the food and the mats, which is how I've seen most sushi restaurants do it. Another method that I've discovered works well for me is to place it inside a Ziploc bag. This method works well because it's simple, and because it seals itself together, it won't come apart like cling wrap, but it won't stay as close to the bamboo as cling wrap does.

It was a success. It was my first time making sushi, and it came out well; the mat is definitely required for easy sushi preparation. To keep rice from getting stuck in the crevices, I wrapped it in plastic wrap. I already own a couple of rice paddles, but now I have a third. The spreader did a fantastic job. Overall, this is a fantastic set.

I'd never used a spreader before, preferring instead to apply rice with gloved hands, but I gave it a shot. Well, the spreader worked great, and it's nice to have if you're making multiple rolls for yourself and others. My old rice paddle had seen better days, and I needed a new one. Also, the chopsticks were of excellent quality. This is a fantastic collection! br>br>I received a link to their new from Delanu after sending a quick email. For the download, there is a pdf page. Customer service was extremely quick and responsive. br>br>I am extremely pleased with Delanu's product and service. You can't go wrong with this place because of the price! br>I mean, seriously! Just take a look at my California rolls! This set gave me everything I needed to do a great job! Yum!.

The set is nice, but all of the items have an overpowering odor, as if they were made of burnt bamboo. These are not suitable for cooking.
