You did need to fill the tray with water.
Yes, I'm the proud owner of that stove.
Some items have been returned to Amazon and labeled as used, but all have been inspected and assigned the appropriate status. Even if they were returned items, some are "like new."
Well. It's compatible with my single-burner portable butane stove. I'm not sure how many BTUs it produces, but it's more than enough. I'm sure it would suffice if you had a direct flame, even if it was just a portable propane camp stove. Now, if it's a heating element stove, I'm not sure how or if it would function. My stove has an induction cooktop, so the BBQ plate would not work. I hope this has been of assistance. Cheers!

I only used this product once, and the bottom layer was completely burned, as shown in the photo. I'm curious about the material's hazard potential. Please respond to the message so that I can determine whether or not to respond.
My family enjoys eating at Korean bbq restaurants because the food is cooked right in front of your eyes at your own table, which is a unique experience. I came across this bbq plate while browsing Amazon. Why don't I give it a try, bringing the bbq restaurant atmosphere to my home, since I already have a portable butane stove that works perfectly? I purchased the product, and my family tried it out the following weekend after it arrived. We've been bbq-ing inside the house on a monthly basis since then. It's a breeze to set up and maintain the product. As long as the catch basin is full of water, there will be no smoke. My family and I are pleased with the product; in fact, I have purchased a second one.
This is a fantastic barbecue plate. When I first got it, I was a little worried. Although the metal appeared to be on the thin side, I have used it six times now and have found it to be durable, bending and warping free. It's also crucial to keep the lower tray full of water. Any marinades or fats that drip down into the bottom tray will ignite and burn, causing it to stick and fuse to the bottom tray if the water evaporates. Cleaning after use with a bamboo scrub brush has proven to be effective. It has no effect on the coating. While scrubbing the grill, I immerse it in water. I leave any stubborn spots on the plate that the brush can't get rid of and set it aside to dry. The charred remains on the plate will naturally lift away from the plate as it dries. The majority of the residue is removed by a dry scrubbing with the bamboo brush. Despite the fact that cleaning it takes some time, I am pleased with the performance of this barbecue plate. On the basis of its value, quality, and performance, I recommend it.
Iwatani grills have an incredible Yakiniku hotplate. I have an Iwatani Tatsujin Slim, and the ring beneath this plate has intentions that are compatible with the Tatsujin Slim. The greater the benefit- When used (and everyone is picking delicious food off the plate), the holding part comes in handy. The ring part of the frying pan holds a medium cup of water to help steam the meat, seafood, vegetables, or whatever else you're frying for your tabletop dinner. I found some Korean Bulgogi (thinly sliced beef with sauce and onions) at Costco and quickly fried it to perfection (I live in Honolulu). The grip - This isn't a frying-pan accessory at all. A tool to carry off the top of the hot plate for cleaning, not a pan handle, as I first assumed from looking at the picture. Simply place the two prongs in one of the slots and walk over to the sink. Clean- Cleaning up was a lot easier than I expected because I was expecting the sauce to stick to the surface or stain the finish, but it came cleanly off with a dish brush and dish detergent. I'm not sure how long that ability will last (I don't believe it was designed to have sauces burn on the surface, but we live in Hawaii, and that's how we do things here), but it's been working fine so far. My family enjoyed the indoor grilling experience provided by this Iwatani grill at our family dinners, and we plan to use it again soon.
I really like this device; we've been using it a lot, and my kids enjoy the idea of preparing their own meals. It's ideal for gatherings with friends and family because everyone can eat at their own pace.
Pros: br>br>* Includes a pick to easily lift the plate off and outbr>* Nonstickbr>* Easy to cleanbr>* All fat drips downbr>* Smokeless (no need to worry about smoke detectors going off in the house)br>* Simple to usebr>br>Cons: br>br>* Scratches easilybr>* Nonstick surfaces lose their color after a few usesbr>* The outer layers cook slowly because the temperature isn't high enough (regardless of how high the burner is)br>* It's not as "big" as it appears. It's only good for one to two people (unless you're not a big eater)br>br>Above was rated 4 starsbr>br>- br>br>UPDATE: br>br> 2 starsbr>br>This was thrown out because it began to smoke excessively after 4 months due to the coating wearing off and it was no longer "nonstick. " The food sticks to the pan too much and burns too quickly before it is fully cooked.
It sits nicely and tugs on gas stoves, and the oil and grease that drips into the holes doesn't stick or make a mess, and it's super easy to clean. Unlike other grills that crust and require scrubbing, this one simply washes off. This actually works quite well, as it does not evaporate all of the water below, making cleaning a lot easier. Also outstanding is the grill top. It's thin and light, but it's also resistant to being burned or crusted. Super nonstick, just make sure to add some butter or something before adding your meats, but this worked out so well that I was blown away. The small grill change tool is also entertaining to show your friends, who all laugh and treat you as if you were a gen/qpot employee. But I never used it because, believe it or not, the grill never needed to be replaced. br>br>Amazon reviewer advice: I know I'm bragging a little too much about this, but I'm an adult now, and little things like this amaze and delight me. I've finally found the perfect kbbq grill. My review, on the other hand, can be trusted because, despite its flaws, it demonstrates how genuine I am. Just putting it out there; Pbr>br>However, I would strongly advise 100/10. br>I'm about to return my other grill and purchase another of these so that I can have two of them.
