Questions & Answers
I used 8 ounces of water, which is the maximum amount. Almost to the point of overflow. So I'd put 6 oz in there because I really like these bowls. Ice cream is a great way to use it. Dishes for the side. They are fantastic.
Microwave and dishwasher safe is written on the bottom of the container. The word "oven" is not mentioned.
Unfortunately, no! Try Ebay!
There are six 8oz bowls in total, as shown in the photo. The description states that this is a six-piece set.

These were purchased for the purpose of coffee cupping. They are within the acceptable volume range for cupping vessels as defined by the SCA protocal. They're durable, dishwasher-safe, and just the right width for cupping. I would strongly suggest it.
I was not expecting to enjoy them as much as I do. My partner and I have been living the "clean life" (vegetarian-only) for a while now. ish. We still have pizza/wing nights on occasion, so we don't cook from scratch all of the time. We needed something that would fit neatly in the cupboard and be large enough to hold the spices while we prepared the meals. These have quickly become my favorite kitchen item that we own. I adore the colors; they make me smile every time I'm in the kitchen! I know it sounds silly, but we didn't have anything colorful before, and it just makes cooking a lot more enjoyable. We're overjoyed that they arrived!.
For a long time, I've been looking for small cups and bowls like this. I've always wanted some of the soup that comes in such a cute little cup whenever I order it at a restaurant. These Swedish bouillon cups are adorable, solid, and hold a full 8 ounces of liquid, making them ideal for a single cup of soup. Only a few millimeters below the surface, the liquid almost reaches the top. I'm sure I'll use these small bowls for snacks, food prep, and other purposes.
Bright, clean colors and sharp, clean lines are two of my favorite things to work with. These bouillon cups were in perfect condition when they arrived. Some of the reviews were concerning, but my packing/delivery/quality control experience was satisfactory, and the hot color set of 8 ounce cups will shine like jewels in my kitchen. This review was a sham- I just got them, and I'm assuming the cleaning and durability ratings from other users are accurate. Sweese provided me with some straightforward "happiness" on this particular day.
This is ideal for espresso drinks. I prefer the bowl style espresso drink cups because I don't like the small cups with tiny little handles. br>br> One of those specialty 8oz latte cups/bowls of the same size costs as much as this entire 6 pack, so it's a great deal! And the 8-ounce size is ideal for a double shot flat white as well as a prep bowl! br>br>Another bonus is that the packaging smells like fabric softener when you unbox them. It's the little things that make a difference.
So far, my bouillon cups have served me well. In my house, they may never be used for bouillon, but they are used for almost everything else. Anything that my kids would chase around the plate with their spoon ends up in the bouillon cup next to their plate. They're fantastic at controlling portion sizes! When my kids get their bouillon cup filled with the same scoop and a half of ice cream that they complained about in a large cereal bowl, they look at me like I'm a rock star. In the near future, kidhack will be purchasing more.
Even with descriptions and photos, I find it difficult to truly understand what things are like online. So when I ordered this set, I hoped but couldn't say for sure if I'd like it. These small bowls are one of our favorites. They're tough little workhorses with a lot of muscle. We use them for food prep, gathering individual ingredients for stir fries or other dishes in which ingredients are added in stages. They make great little snack bowls with generous portions, which we frequently use. Good for tableside servings or dinners with a variety of toppings, such as tacos. We put them in the dishwasher, and they're not at all fragile. It's so frustrating when a bowl from a set, of which I have several, chips.
