I got my cup from a local store. This cup appeals to me on all levels: It keeps coffee hot for hours, and the thumb lever works perfectly to keep the cup from spilling. If you remember to close it, you'll have proof; sturdily constructed and dent-resistant It ensures the safe delivery of hot liquids. The only issue is keeping the lid clean. Trudeau failed to include a mechanism for undoing the lid, allowing gooey gunk to clog it. The only way to really clean out the lid is to microwave some water until it's nearly boiling, then pour it into the cup, cover it, turn it upside down, and shake it for all it's worth. Various types of trash are ejected. Using a second load of hot water, repeat the washing process. Only a few little brown gobs have washed out by this point. You have a fantastic cup if you're willing to put in the effort. A few years ago, I contacted the company about this issue, and they promptly sent me two replacement lids. That was a very thoughtful gesture on your part. I'm hoping they'll come out with a similar cup that allows you to clean the underside of the lid. They have a similar cup with a screw that allows users to disassemble and clean the lid- Only, it can't keep liquids hot or cold for more than six hours, which is a bummer.
This is the best-designed coffee mug (for my purposes) I've ever used. It doesn't leak at all. When the switch is closed, it proofs, and when it is open, it pours in any direction except towards the handle. The bottom has a rubber ring to muffle noise when setting it down, though it does occasionally leave a circular stain mark (which can be wiped off), as noted by a previous reviewer. After breaking it in, hopefully it will fade away. It holds the heat as well as any of the other mugs I've tried.
This cup is incredible, and it is without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. I like it a lot, but I'll give you my honest opinion. br>br>1) Because the lid is plastic, the coffee odor will linger. After a few uses, there's nothing you can do about it. But that's true of any travel mug I've ever owned, so it's more of a personal preference. rather than a product that is over-priced, there is a product that is under-priced site. br>br>2) If you leave the lid in the dishwater for too long, the handle will fill with water and drip, which is inconvenient; however, if you wash it after each use, you will never have this problem. br>br>3)Avoid putting too much pressure on yourself. tighten. It's possible to go too far with this. the cap should be tightened and threaded I've gone overboard with my enthusiasm. I tightened it a few times (I have a tendency to forget my own strength), but this is more of a personal issue than a design flaw. br>br>Overall, this cup is one of my favorites. I bought a silver one for my mother, and I'm planning to get one for my wife soon. For personal use or as a gift, this item is fantastic. It keeps my coffee warm for over 4 hours if I drink it from any angle. HOT COFFEE FOR FOUR HOURS!.
This mug is one of my favorites. For several years, I used my old one, which had a black covering on the outside that was beginning to peel away. I searched everywhere for a replacement but was unable to locate one. I'm not sure why Amazon didn't come to mind first, but it did. Anyway, it was on Amazon that I discovered it. I felt relieved. They made it better by removing the black coating and making it entirely stainless steel. The only two drawbacks I have are that it is not dishwasher safe and that it does not keep my drink hot for several hours. If you use it for anything other than coffee, like hot chocolate, it's difficult to clean. Aside from that, I highly recommend this product and have purchased two of them.
It fits into the car's holder. The top screws on, which I find inconvenient, but it does open all the way around, so it is left-handed. or right- handed. It features a thumb-operated lock. When locked, it has been tipped over and has not leaked!.
This is a fantastic travel cup! I conducted extensive research and, two weeks ago, purchased two different cups from two different companies at the same time. I always drink from this Trudeau cup. I only drink cold drinks, so I'm only interested in cold retention, and this one is ideal; I add ice in the morning, and there's still ice at the end of the day, which usually lasts 12 hours. It lasts for 14 hours, which means it lasts all day! I can't speak for the heat retention because I don't drink coffee, but I'm sure it would be just as good. The balance of the cup is perfect, and when closed, it is completely leak proof. Turn it upside down after locking it. Even when shaken, it does not leak. Because I drink carbonated beverages, I don't leave it closed for long periods of time (for fear of damaging the seal due to the pressure buildup), but Trudeau never said that would happen. I try to be proactive all of the time, which can be exhausting at times. This is a cup I strongly suggest. It's fantastic and, of the six stainless steel travel mugs I've owned, this is by far the best. My second-best Trudeau mug, which is over ten years old, is the second-best. They produce excellent products and provide excellent customer service if you ever require assistance. You'll be glad you did when you get one. .
The mug was a big hit. The lid stopped working on February 3, 2021, which is a huge problem because I bought it on December 1, 2020. It isn't going to open. This is due to the cup being used in a normal, gentle manner. I had hoped it would last the entire year. My husband is a truck driver, so he prefers a coffee mug with a handle that he can easily open while maintaining his focus on the road. He didn't even get to take it to work and put it to the test. I'm extremely disappointed!.
I used to have a thing for Trudeau mugs, which had a different lid. Design elements that are more dynamic. It had been a long time. br>br>It's nearly impossible to clean this lid. a cup of coffee Over time, cream clogs the lid, ruining the taste and restricting the flow. br>br>They charge a premium price for a product that isn't even premium. br>br>It's just a memory.
