They're the perfect size for vegetables, fruit, and other items; my husband and I are both elderly, and since I'm having trouble grasping things now, they're extremely sturdy and the perfect size for us! They're also the perfect portion size.

Just Ok - A lot of money for a good product

The light weight and ridges on the bottom give them a less expensive appearance, but they are not inexpensive for what they are. I was concerned that these would be ivory or speckled, but they are a bright white.

This item cannot be microwaved

Individual servings are made easy with these bowls. Despite being heat resistant, they are not microwave safe! This is not stated anywhere in the description. I noticed the teeny-tiny print on the burnt bowl I took out of the microwave!.
