The diameter is 4 inches and the length is 2 inches. 5" high. They're bigger at the top. It is 2" across the bottom and is narrow. These small bowls are my favorite. The colors are fantastic! If I needed something else, I would buy it again.
They must be referring to the various color families, I believe. I got a nice mix of colors, which is great for finding a contrasting color for different condiments or taco toppings, and it's also great for portion control with ice cream.

Small bowls and smaller portions are my favorites for snacking. These were on my Christmas wish list, and on Christmas Day, my husband surprised me with them. I was immediately impressed with the quality of the bowls when I opened the package; they are absolutely beautiful and the perfect size; however, I was disappointed to discover that one of the bowls was cracked upon arrival, but am happy to report that customer service was fantastic and made sure we were satisfied with our order. These are highly recommended, and I would purchase them again.
I debated whether or not to buy these because they were a bit pricey, but I decided to go ahead and order them because of the size and colors. Now that I've had them for a while, I can confidently say that I enjoy them and would purchase them again. They hold a good amount of food, are easy to clean in the sink or dishwasher (I use the top rack), and have performed admirably in the microwave. No chips. They arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The colors are also very nice, and now that these are holding up, I'm going to order the matching pieces.
It arrived exactly as described, and it's a great addition to my growing collection of Swedish goods. I like that they are small and oven safe because they can also be used as portion control bowls and ramekins for small loaves or quiches!.
After a week of back-and-forth communication, the Sweese representative explained to me that the glaze issues on my two boxed sets of "Sweese 107. Porcelain Bouillon Cups, No. 003 - Dessert Bowls (8 Ounces) During shipping and handling, a set of six "Cool Assorted Colors" that had been ordered at two different times ended up in the same box. She wants me to believe that the product's glaze was perfect when it left the factory, but that it mysteriously acquired a flaw in the shipping box. I ordered a second box so that I could replace the defective cups in the first with unflawed cups from the second box. It appears to be a good plan, but the second boxed set contained more cups with flaws in the glazing than the first. br>br>I had high hopes for these Swedish goods. We're currently using the last of our Williams Sonoma dinnerware, which we can't replace because it's no longer available. We wanted to use Sweese as a substitute for our regular meals. We wanted to test these cups to see how good they were. Sweese, on the other hand, is a poorly constructed product. The advertisements and photography in Sweden are very slick, and they do look nice, but there is no factory quality control. Sweese products are not something I would recommend. br>br>The colorway for the Swedish products we purchased is lovely, but it isn't executed well.
These bowls are fantastic - I'm a big fan of them. They're the ideal size for a dessert or for preparing a recipe. I got these in a cool blue color, as well as cups and other plates, as well as bowls, in the same color. I don't have any issues at all. They arrive in excellent condition, with no chipped or broken pieces among the over 40 I ordered. I'm very pleased with this purchase; they're all so lovely and elegant on my table, and the cool blues remind me of plates and cups from my grandmother's pantry many years ago. Every day, they bring a smile to my face!.
They're also fantastic for portion control when it comes to ice cream. The colors are beautiful and the size is just right. I'm considering purchasing a second set!.
Blue is one of my favorite colors. They're ideal for small eaters as well as storing various spices in precise amounts for cooking. I won't have to worry about spills because they're tall enough. They'd also work well as individual desserts. I'll be ordering more in the future.
They're of good quality and have a nice weight to them. They can be used in the dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer. The size is ideal for my soup, but it would also work well for ice cream, fruit, oatmeal, and so on. I am now a huge fan of all things Swedish! I can't wait to get my hands on some more. My wish list is getting longer and longer, haha!.
