I'm not sure how to microwave it, but for this tea pot, all you have to do is fill it with hot water. It's a tiny thing.

This "easy" gaiwan is quite appealing. Unless you plan to drink a lot of tea or have a second cup to share with another person, you might find it a little large at 200ml for gong fun style brewing. It's also a bit heavy, so you might need to use both hands to hold it. br>br>It's very simple to clean; all you have to do is wash it with water and dump it until all of the leaves are gone. Although a few leaves may become stuck in the filter, I found it much easier to remove them than I would with a metal teapot filter. During a tea session, however, you must be aware of leaves jamming in the filter, as they may prevent the water from flowing. A toothpick can be used to remove them. br>br>In general, I think it's a great gaiwan, as long as you make sure it's the right size for you.
This is a very nice teapot and it is great for gong fu brewing and just for yourself the set is heavy and nice doesn't feel fragile at all if you are using small tea leaves some will get stuck in the top but it isn't a whole lot could be that I'm using a lot of leaf or too much water but I like how easy it is to pour you won't burn yourself or make a mess unless you forget the cup or pitcher in which case you will have a mess.
It's very simple to use, and I like that it comes with a lid to keep it warm. This is something I use every morning now, and it's a beautiful, well-made piece that's definitely worth the money. I just wish the small bowl/cup atop the small pot could hold the entire contents. However, if I could locate more of this type, I would purchase them. My Pu-Pu-Pu-Pu-Pu-Pu-P Erh tea is a fantastic tea. I'm currently using my favorite piece.
I've added yet another beautiful gaiwan to my collection. When pouring tea into your cup, the holes in the lid allow you to filter out some of the tea.
It did a fantastic job. All of my loose leaf teas are now made with it. It's lovely and simple to work with. love it!.
Tea set in blue and white from Qinghua! It is also simple to operate and maintain.
Through Amazon, I received a cracked and unusable gaiwan. When I contacted the company, they were extremely helpful. He sent me a new one, which arrived in a matter of days. This modern gaiwan is one of my favorites because it makes pouring and straining a breeze. It's ideal for taking to work as a portable set.
Ken is the creator. If you're reading this, Ken, you mentioned that you'll be bringing us some artisanal teas. I'd appreciate it if you could send me a link or something so I can look them up.
