I always recommend filling a 12 oz cup halfway with 8 oz of water. The strainer may come to a halt on the 8oz glass, allowing a significant amount of heat to escape through the sides. You should be fine as long as this isn't a problem for you.
Even with the strainer, it is too big. It's just a lid to keep the steam in, not a proper seal. Everything would spill if you tipped it over.
There should be holes, but the bottom holes should be covered by a screen (similar to the sides). br>The glass, strainer, and lid are all present. That is all there is to it.

In the kitchen, I usually make tea. I purchased it for use in the office and it did not disappoint. I usually make tea in the kitchen, but if I don't have time to wait for it to brew, I can bring it to my desk and stainer it on a lid when it's done. The double-walled glass is ideal for brewing and keeping tea warm while remaining cool to the touch. br>br>It's not only a useful product, but it's also quite attractive. I'd never noticed how beautiful the tea I'm drinking was until now.
Loose leaf tea is great, but the strainer we had was ineffective, leaving tons of leaves and other crud in the cup of tea that resulted. This Bodum tea for one looks great and serves a perfect cup of tea for just one person. To achieve the desired flavor, you don't need a lot of leaves in the strainer. As I discovered when I thought to myself, "That's not enough!" " and continued to add more, resulting in a wickedly strong tea- Possibly a smidgeononononononononononononon Then all you have to do is pour the hot water into the strainer and let it steep. Boom! In addition, even when the tea inside is very hot, the glass remains comfortable to touch. Right now, I'm employing it.
When steeping my tea, I use these double-walled glasses. I highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys tea. This product, along with the coffee mug from Bodum, is one of my favorites. They are fantastic.

This is something I use every two weeks or so. It works great for Yerba Mate, Runa, Rooibos, and other similar teas when consumed three times per day. There are no flaws in the product or its capabilities that I can see. It keeps tea nice and hot for a long time with the lid on; I've forgotten about it while it's steeping and returned over an hour later to find it still nice and hot!.
My new single-brew tea cup is perfect for me! It performs exactly as stated. In terms of size, the cup is comfortable to hold, and the double wall keeps it cool. The strainer does an excellent job of keeping the leaves out. I really like how the top was designed to be used as a coaster! Most of my other cups/mugs will also fit the strainer and top!
