Questions & Answers
No, it's a product of the United States of America.
Lenox is no longer solely made in the United States of America. Some pieces are still made in the United States, but the majority are manufactured elsewhere. This product is manufactured in other countries for many Chinese companies. The majority of the newer items are not manufactured in the United States.
That's what I believe. The bowls come in a variety of sizes. For soup, I've experimented with various sizes. The dishes are stunning and can be used in a variety of ways.
The large plate weighs one pound and ten ounces (per postal scale).br>Hope this helps; we love our Lenox set; it is chip and break resistant.

I have two sets, as can be seen in the photo. I get a lot of compliments on them because they are so beautiful and elegant. I kept my wooden spoons and whisks in the largest one off to the side. I'll respond to a few of the other people's complaints. To begin with, they will not hold a 5 pound weight. 4 pound bag of flour If you want to use it for that, don't buy it and then give it a poor review. Before I bought them, I read all of the reviews and realized that. Because I rarely bake, I keep my flour in the freezer. The only thing I use them for is a 2 lb. The smallest one holds a bag of organic sugar, while the second smallest holds my herbal tea. The medium-sized one contains popcorn, while the larger one contains currants. Oatmeal is kept in the big one. It was exactly what I needed for things I use on a regular basis, so it was ideal for me. Someone mentioned that the sugar was extremely hard, which could be due to two factors. They either did not let the canister dry for a good 24 hours with the lid and ring off when they were washed for the first time, or they did not let the canister dry for a good 24 hours with the lid and ring off when they were washed for the first time. Everything must be completely dry before proceeding. They'll turn the sugar rock hard if there's any moisture in the canister, or if someone has put a damp spoon in it. This is something I've learned over the course of 40 years of owning ceramic canisters. The largest canister has a small opening, but I was able to fit a smaller measuring cup inside. My two sets had perfect glaze and paint, so that was not an issue. Some of the rings aren't as tight as they should be, as others have mentioned. This is why I gave it four stars. I've got two that could use some tightening up. I did soak them (the rings) in hot water for a few minutes, and it seemed to help a little (again, let them airdrop for 24 hours). If you like the way this set looks, figure out a way to make it work for you knowing these things ahead of time, or look for something else.
Stunningly beautiful and well-made. These canisters, which are a true white rather than ivory, go perfectly with my white kitchen. They are my favorite. We'll use the small canister for coffee, the medium for sugar, and the large for cookies because it's big enough to store but not so big that it looks out of place on the kitchen counter.
The package was sent by a non-profit organization. Amazon was the source of the product, which was then sold on Amazon. It was a fantastic deal, so I placed my order with some trepidation. I was surprised and delighted when they arrived fully packed and undamaged. I've returned several times to see if the seller has anything else they'd like to get rid of, but no luck so far. br>br>I chose this brand (Lenox) because I discovered it on a website that only sells products made in the United States. "American by Design" is even written on the Lenox website. I chose my pattern and placed my order, only to discover that they are only "American by Designed" when they arrived at my house. China is where they're made. br>br>I don't want to return them at this point, so I won't be ordering any more matching items from this company until I've completed a four-person place setting. Leaf that scrolls Because work is so common these days, I can easily purchase genuine American-made items from other vendors to create a complete and lovely casual dining table setting. On this one, I survived, was burned, and learned. They can be washed in the dishwasher. br>br> I was so concerned that they would break if they came into contact with each other while being washed that I took great care to keep them far apart from other dishes at first. That is something I no longer do. They're in good condition, with no chips or scratches, and I've eaten off of them several times. Tea or coffee tannins don't seem to stain the cup easily, either. When they wash their hands, any ring they have rubs right off with their fingertips. br>br>As for the headline, I didn't realize it when I ordered them, but the dinner plate is actually too large to fit in my cabinet and close completely without hitting the rim. While I could have found another location for this plate, I simply decided to install two strips of foam mounting squares where the plate meets the back of the cabinet and the door meets the plate. These, combined with a careful closing of the door, have protected the plate from damage while still allowing it to live among my other dishes. The cabinet door does not fully *click* close and can open on its own if the adjacent door is closed too quickly, but this is so common that it's no big deal to just tap it shut again. br>br>Overall, I'm happy with this collection. It's attractive as well as durable. I'll buy enough of these place settings to feed four people at a casual meal, but I'll support American industry and labor for the rest of the serving pieces and stemware because I believe in supporting American industry and labor as long as it produces items that are wanted, needed, cost-effective, and long-lasting.
I really like these pasta bowls. There was, however, one minor snag. I already owned four of these bowls, which I purchased from Macy's. I only needed four more, so I went to Amazon to find them. The bowls arrived in good condition, but they are not perfectly round like the other four I ordered. When you stack them, you'll notice that the first four fit perfectly, but the next four don't, and you'll notice that they're slightly off. It's not a deal breaker, but it's possible that these were seconds, resulting in a lower price; I'm not sure, but if that's the case, it should be disclosed to the buyer. Otherwise, they appear to be in good condition, and I intend to keep them. You would expect perfection from a company like Lenox.
But I made the decision to reward myself, and I did so. This sugar bowl, on the other hand, is one of my favorites. It's cute, but it's far from small. Personally, I believe this is the ideal size for a sugar bowl; it holds just under 2 cups of sugar. The lid fits snugly on the pot and makes a pleasant chime when removed from the bowl's top. Because it's lightweight, passing it around the table won't feel like a workout.
It's appealing to the eye, but it's not practical. A measuring cup will not fit into the neck of the largest canister to scoop out flour. 5 pound of flour would not fit in this container. I'm dissatisfied with them and will send them back.
This is an excellent addition to my Carved Opal Innocence Collection. It is quite small, as other reviewers have mentioned. Dinner parties with more than four guests are not recommended. On this tray, I intended to place a few dinner rolls. It would also be nice to include some small fruits and nuts. Unless each guest only ate ONE appetizer, I'm not sure about the actual appetizers. This isn't very useful. Nonetheless, I'm considering purchasing another one. Keep an eye on this item's price. It varies a great deal.
