It's not difficult at all. Simply remove the old curtain, clean it of mildew and grime, and replace it with a new one. I took a look at a video on YouTube. I hope this information is useful.
Because of a defective curtain that allowed water to pass through without freezing, the ice maker was unable to produce ice. The problem was solved for me by replacing the curtain.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. You could contact the Scotsman's customer service department for more information.

This solved my ice melting problem caused by water dripping on it. It's exactly what it says on the tin. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the price; it's a bit pricey for a simple piece of plastic! I don't think cutting a piece of plastic to make this myself would be difficult. It does, however, work and has solved my problem!.
A torn curtain can be replaced with this one. a good substitute.
The plastic is extremely thin and inconsistent. The support bar is made of compressed styrofoam rather than metal, as was the case with the original. I'm hoping it works out. For what it is, it is extremely expensive.
I needed one and didn't have to go out of my way to get it.
It didn't appear to be worth the money, but it solved the problem flawlessly!.
The ice maker issue has been resolved. Installing is a breeze.
