Questions & Answers
There is no refrigeration in the ice compartment. You can leave the ice in there until it melts and is replaced with new ice, but I'm not aware of any ice makers that have a refrigerated bin because I'm afraid it would cause the ice to solidify.
Yes, I had it connected to a spicket outside. It was an excellent solution.
Remove the blue clip from the back of your unit's connector. Soak the supply tube in water and insert about 1/2" of it into the connector. The blue clip should be installed again.

I wish I could write a positive review, but I am currently frustrated because I spent time preparing for the installation only to discover that I am missing the parts that connect the water supply tube to the ice machine. I have the parts to connect the tube to my supply line, but the machine was shipped without the parts needed to connect the provided tube to the machine, so I have no way of hooking it up and all I have is a customer service email address. No response has been received thus far. The installation instructions/manual were also written in a sloppy English style. That isn't going to help either. Crownful. Please get my parts to me as soon as possible, or I'll have to return my machine!.
They had a problem, but they worked hard to solve it with me. One of these is something I recently bought and installed. The intake water valve's plastic had broken when it arrived. It appeared to have been damaged during production (as seen in the photo, where I removed the valve). I needed to install on a Saturday, so I contacted them through Amazon and received a response within an hour. Meanwhile, I had found the exact valve on Amazon and had ordered it (being somewhat handy with such things). br>br>On Sunday, email them again (this time from their company's email address), explaining that all I wanted was a refund for the replacement valve. They responded quickly (on Sunday) and said that was fine, and they refunded the cost of the new valve. br>br>It's been a few days since I installed it, and it's been great. br>br>The ice cubes are somewhat stuck together, as seen in some of the other reviews, but I don't find it difficult to break them apart; I love this thing as a supplement to our LG refrigerator's terrible ice maker.
The only stumbling block was obtaining a water-line adapter.
Even if you're not a religious person, you can benefit from this This machine is easy to set up and operate, even for a non-technical person like me, and it produces ice as quickly as we can use it. We keep ten-pound bags in the freezer and still have enough to fill the ice boxes on our boat to keep the fish cool.
It was purchased by my husband so that he could have ice for work and when he goes fishing. He works as a pool tiler and spends most of his time in a cement bowl. In the scorching heat of Arizona, having an ice chest full of filtered ice has come in handy. It is kept in the shade outside. We try to use it only at night and turn it off as soon as it gets too hot. It's been about a month since we got it. Love it!.
There is no pause in the music! Because it's connected to our outdoor water faucet, we installed a water filter. We like how the ice cube thickness can be adjusted and how quickly the ice is dispensed.
If you buy the extra bags and have a chest freezer, you should be able to get the 100 lbs in 24 hours. I fill my ice chest for the morning, then bag the leftovers and store them in the chest freezer in case I forget to turn it on at night. It produces some heat, so running it on a hot summer day will warm up the room it's in a little. For me, running late at night works.
It was very simple to set up the ice maker. It came with everything you'll need for a quick and painless setup. I empty it twice a day, and the ice it makes lasts a long time; it's not porous ice like you'd get from a countertop ice maker, but good hard cubes that last, and it comes in a variety of sizes, which I like. In addition, I prefer square cubes to the larger cubes found in some ice makers.
