Product Description

Despite being not fully closed, chest freezers can hold frozen foods better than upright freezers since the cold air is retained in the storage compartment even when the lid is not fully closed. Once the lid is opened, the temperature quickly returns to normal.

The holding temperature can be adjusted easily between 0° and 11°F (-24° to -18° C) at the factory (the factory set point is 5°F / -15°C).

With three inches of environmentally friendly foam insulation, the stored contents can be safely stored for two days if a power outage occurs the lid locks to keep them secure and the interior wire basket lets you tidiness. Factory warranty and nationwide service are also provided.

There is no minimum temperature this freezer can be set at, but I am pretty sure it is very During the winter months, it gets pretty cold here in Louisville, so mine is kept in my garage. The compressor makes strange sounds but it seems to do what it is supposed to do so far

As of now, everything appears to be going smoothly. I would not call it a "top of the line" freezer, but I did not expect that at its price. It does make some weird noises, but nothing major. It meets our needs and does not sound like a normal compressor. The seller in no way responded to my comments about the noise from the compressor, except to tell me he would not sell me The seller told me that there are no more baskets available, so I contacted him. It could use another basket or two. The unit is almost 22 inches wide, which is too small for a standard freezer/refrigerator basket. An online search for the right one did not provide any results. The meat is good in the freezer. However, the seller has a much harder time.

It's great to have such a freezer! I love how small it is for my family and how neat it fits in the garage! The package is pretty heavy, so ensure the delivery company has a pallet jack.
