It states in the description that the seller has 4 million, but the seller comments that he has 3 mil. Why is that the way it is?
There are 11 inches in length, I think.
You asked a great question. Thank you. There is no problem, these bag rolls will work with the FoodSaver model of this model. It may not be possible to store them inside the unit right away. Despite the fact that the rolls are extremely cheap, they are too large when they are
It is not just the width, it is also the sealed edge width. It is about 10" wide when it is being used. We are satisfied with the purchase of these products and are very satisfied with their performance.

The bags were purchased so that I could use them Let's get one thing straight these rolls cannot be used in the Foodsaver 4840. There is nothing to worry about being too wide, just that the roll is too For the rest of the models, I am not certain. The fact that this happens does not bother me, as I am more concerned at how When you have used it for a while, you will find that it fits into the 4840 perfectly. In addition to using Foodsaver for many different things, I am a big fan of its flexibility. Making homemade bacon, sausage, and other foods is a part of what I do. I just bagged 37 bags of It's not necessarily cheap to do this, but it does take time and effort. When it comes to food storage bags, I want to use a bag I can trust. I have packaged all of my meat in these bags and never once have I been worried about their integrity. Despite the fact that these bags are 4mills thick (that is excellent considering I seal crawlspaces at 6mil), they are very durable. Having used these bags for a long time, I have never had one fail to I can pretty much assure you that if you have one that isn't sealing, you are doing something I find the FoodSaver bags way too expensive compared to If quality is something you are concerned about, you are not sacrificing it. It is hard to compare these with any other brand on the market. In addition to the use of these bags, there are several ways to use them, but that is not the focus of this review. Do they work and do you know how to use them? Can they really be that good at that price? Are they gonna last?
The answer to all of your questions is "YES". You can tell they are good bags! In fact, you could call them a great team! In spite of their lack of magic, they will do what you want them to do for a price I think is very reasonable. I trust them with my You should really give them a shot. Having a 3 Month Guarantee will ensure that you are satisfied. The answer is yes. My purchase of this item was full price. Even so, I am going to give you my honest opinion of the product after testing it thoroughly. It is something I enjoy doing and I hope I have helped someone make an educated It is not my responsibility to support or promote the seller, the manufacturer, EDITED 11/28/16 Just wanted to update that I have had no bag failures with this batch of 37 bags so far. The bags also fell out of the freezer onto the concrete floor after the freezer door was opened. More bacon, homemade sausage, and venison are being added to the crockpot There can be no doubt that I can and will continue to rely on this product for years.
I also had trouble getting them to seal correctly at first. In a phase of testing, I tried several bags and then by accident I discovered the secret after testing the machine using an old bag to confirm it was still The bags appear to have a more rigid texture on their side. At first my machine was unable to complete the vacuum and seal the bags. Flipping the bag over so the smooth side was up enabled them to vacuum and seal the bag well. I took off one start since they would vacuum with either side up in my machine, but I have only the smooth side up. Not too much of an issue, so I decided to rerun that start. Upon re-examination I will revise this review if they do not hold the seal. However, it is fine for the moment.
These vacuum sealer bags were purchased from FoodSaver to be used with the appliance. Considering the mostly positive reviews, I expected that these bags would be nearly identical to FoodSaver bags, but they aren't. FoodSaver brand is much thicker and stronger, but that is not the reason why I rate The FoodSaver does not recognize even the bag when I place it into the machine to seal or vacuum. I have had to put the bag into the machine several times before it would recognize it. There may be a reason for this, perhaps due to the difference in Even though that is a bit frustrating, what is even more frustrating is that despite successfully vacuuming and sealing numerous bags, a few days later, I noticed that the seals on almost all the bags I had been able to seal had been broken. There were no bags inside the boxes and they probably offered no more protection than regular Ziplock freezer bags. While I am still able to store food in these bags for regular use, I cannot say that I trust them enough to put my life in their hands.
This is the first time I bought rolls since I won't be getting the ones I've been buying for the past few years. While they were similar in price, they are a lot worse in quality. When I buy meat in bulk, I vacuum seal it in order to freeze it later. My bag count for a dozen is 3, so I have three Bags with these seals failed to close four times. There are no failures during freezing included in that. My freezer has broken the seal of these bags on several occasions. The girl I'm talking about is not If a bone pokes through a steak, I try not to jostle them and take care not to damage the meat. I'll look in my deep freezer and see these in a stack with a failed seal. I'm not happy with the overall design of this bag. It has a different grid pattern that I've never seen on other bags I've used before. While all the others I've used so far have a checkerboard grid, this one has dots. In addition, I changed my vac sealers gaskets when I had one roll left of my previous brand, so I know that it is not the sealer itself that is causing the issue.
