Paper bags do not have seals because they are made of paper. Rolling or folding the top down could be an option if you only wanted to partially fill it.

Also, the size is a great size, enough for kids but not too big. When we added melted butter to the popcorn, it did not leak or get soggy. I highly recommend this book!.
The bags are a bit small for me, but if they were any bigger I would probably die from ingestion of too much popcorn.
The size of these is much too small for one ounce bags. Since my 1oz bags were no longer available, I bought these. I have bought 1oz bags for my home theater for a long time. The size of these tiny creatures is astounding. There's no way to even put a scoop in there to fill it. These bags aren't worth buying unless you are looking for a bag of such a small size. As a result, I had to return them to Amazon since I didn't open them right away.
I'm so sorry! It refused to allow me to return an open package with parts missing, yet the item was still considered a gift. I guess it's a return, then. We are very unhappy with these bags in general and they are also too small to hold anything.
I'm running low on the bags that came with the machine, so I bought these replacements. The shoes are way too small for them. It isn't even big enough for the scoop to fit into the bags of popcorn. We are used to big buckets of popcorn.
As we have a popcorn machine in the house, I had to get the bags to go along with it because they attach to the popcorn machine and they are good for portions. If you have children like I do, it can lead to a fight about where the bowl should be placed. In other words, to stop it before it starts, this is a good movie-night idea.
Should I be able to do so, I will return the item. These bags have been in my shop for quite some time, however suddenly they arrived and they are much smaller than they used to be. I bagged. Although I wanted to return them, they wouldn't allow that. It's an awfully small space. The situation is not good.
I loved how tiny these were and how perfect they were for a children's birthday party where many other sweets were available. In addition, the easy opening and paper materials are appealing to me. In order for these to remain upright, I packed them to about 3/4 of capacity to allow for folding at the top (not as shown in the picture). This method proved useful because these needed to be supported by one another in a crate. As opposed to regular paper bags, these do not have a flat bottom and are designed more like sleeves. It was a great purchase that I would buy.
